Maybe I'm using it wrong but how exactly do I make the falcon attack monsters? He kind of just hovers around an enemy for most of the time.

I'm not exactly sure either but I did notice some patterns.

• They seem to activate faster if you summon the falcon after you hit the target and the mob is at 0 range.
• They seem to activate faster if the player is at 0 range from the falcon.

However I think it's AI is bugged out. It's a shame cause the birdy is pretty useful when it does attack.

which is why i went arrow vulcan route, after experiencing that stupid with aqua summon

I never have any problem with it(Falcon Assualt or Summon Aqua) where it matters(in raids/dungeons). I only have problems in fields and its not too important out there unless you are fighting a field boss, but those are pretty easy anyways.
