Hello, fellow Warriors! :D

My question is this one: How is the remaining Attack Power calculated?

Posted ImageBattle Orders:
- Increases STR by 2/4/6/8/10% for yourself and nearby party members for 30 mins.
Max it, nuff' said.

Posted ImageDefender:
- Increases Defense, Dodge and Parry by 6/12/18/24/30% but attack Power decreases 10%

So, at the moment I have 728 Attack Power (Level 37, give me a break! D:).

How is it being calculated?

Battle order is STR buff. Defender reduces your overall attack power.

1 str gives 2 attack power. char has 1000 str, = 2000 attack power.

Char with Battle order has 1100 Str. 2200 attack power.

Same char uses defender with battle order on. Attack power goes down to 890.

OH, right. Str, not Attack Power. X_X

I think there's a bit of an error there-

What I got was 2200*0.9 = 1980 attack power

It would be 1980, yes Chocs you're correct.

Since it's a good time to discuss Battle Orders and Defender...

Battle Orders doesn't really seem to cut it at later levels IMO. I don't really find any use for it anymore and it just seems like skill points that are being wasted which could be put somewhere else.

Why? Well, currently I have 500 STR at Lv.50. If I use Battle Orders, that boosts my STR up to 550. 2 attack power per 1 str would = 50 x 2 = 100 attack power. 100 Attack power is only 25 damage. If you're doing 400 damage Bash's... your new damage will be 425. Seems like a huge waste of skill points I think. :/

The 100 additional Parry is worth something too I suppose. Since it's also a party buff, you'd consider that it scales better for maybe 4-5 people in a raid with 800+ str. I'd say it's more a personal choice if anything.

bah woops. got my numbers switched and dropped one lol, yes you're right. rushed math is bad :(

Also Varunax gotta think big picture. Battle order buffs not just you, but the whole party/raid. So everyone's dmg(melee/rangers) is getting buffed.

OP got their question answered. All is well!

Honestly, I never max battle order on any of my tank builds. Especially not on a warrior, who have less leeway with points than knights. Those points are too precious. Let the DPS warriors spend the points for the minor DPS increase lol.

I wish I have the option to ditch those, but sometimes I end up as the only one with the battle order to give.

But you know.........now that I think about it....I WANT BATTLE LEAP I MUST JUMP ON PEOPLE EVERY DAY I GO BUY SKILL RESET

If anything, it makes your guild more manly. They can't rely on you forever. One of these days they'll have to leave the nest and BE A MAN
