1) What does premium get you on the classic server? I know its bonus exp etc on renewals and the buff npc, but what does it get you on classic.
2) Is instacast reachable? I don't remember if it was or not its been a while.
3) What do you reccomend for a first character? I assume i'd want something that can make money since it'd be my first character on the server.
4) How hard is it to start off as a new player to the classic server, how are the item prices and such.
5) How many chars per account can you have?
6) How is the party system is the exp split still pretty brutal in classic?
7) Any general tips be nice, I haven't played classic ro in a very long time, I do remember it being grindy so thats normal
Thanks all.

2) yes, at 150 dex
3) Wizard is pretty good for that
4) It's easy once you get a card drop or are willing to use kafra points (buy wpe on renewal and then buy rentals on classic for a super fast start)
5) 3 without VIP and 9 with VIP.
6) yes, exp is split a little over the number of party members, I believe its 55% for a 2 man party.
7) It's less grindy than original classic, just make sure you find someone to play alongside.

The rentals are mainly armors so you can get started without an immune or a shield for example. They last 2 weeks from the kafra shop

It's int and equip based, no other stat affects it.
Thanks for the info, I assume I should also make a merchant on a second acct for overcharge? how painful will that be to level? Also know any good websites with builds for classic? I don't know much about magicians and I wanna make sure I don't mess it up since it costs kafra points for a reset.

look around on irowiki's classic wiki, learn how the stats are different first

Well wizards generally go 99 int 99 dex =p

Seems easy enough, I just to decide what spread I wanna use.

I'd also find someone to play with you or find a good active guild to join because without company RO is pretty dull.

7) Play Renewal instead.
(Don't give me that look, VolunteerModXX. I'm wearing my sassy pants. I DEFY you with my sassy pants.)

If it's tighter-knit, that's probably because it's four times as small as Renewal and on the brink of extinction. End-of-world-scenarios makes people band together, it's true. I'm here to offer a life-line though, to save you from a terrible decision. So again:

As long as you're willing to take an addition to your warn level for that defiance.
The Classic vs. Renewal drama is quite annoying. The post was deleted for a reason, which means that reposting it probably isn't a good idea.

Yeah any archer is a solid choice too! If you're able to get some stuff with starting out (message me your ign) - things are a lot easier If you get some zeny for some basic gear or are willing to use rentals, a knight is a really good way to go.
Yeah I was looking at the Knight/LK skills they seem pretty solid. I'd probally go the hybrid build, 50-70 agi/vit, decent dex, some int, rest str pretty much.

Nooo, don't get int or that much agi.
something like 92 str, 90 vit and 47 dex makes a really solid build for levelling. You hit a decent str bonus and level fast with minimal gear using bowling bash.
