Ok so this need some clarification

Appearance Maintain keep the appearance of the selected item,that is clear

Rune Maintain protect slotted in rune from being lost ... Half true

Fusing a:

Gothic Loli 2 Slotted Costume with rune in
With
Mushroom 1 Slotted Costume with rune in

Result:
Gothic Loli 2 Slotted Costume with Rune in

So basically it don't save the rune of the second costume and transfer/refund them

Wasted a Super puncher and a Rune to find out,please make a guide next time you release a feature so you don't screw people Over
