It may sound like it's redundant, but doing it this way lets you record it the first time without experiencing any lag and without generating hundreds of GB of video as you're playing. You can later pick out the parts you want to record, and record only those parts.

thanks.Play it back in the client, and re-record it with something like Fraps or Bandicam.

Yes. Though client replay is still crappy for WoE since emblems don't show up (unless you recieve the emblem during that recording). ROReplay was better until the 14.2 client broke it.Is it possible to toggle effects on/off in the recording? I've been using fraps but everything looks boring because I'm forced to play with my effects off.
kRO has fixed the client replay to show emblems properly but iRO doesn't have it yet. Oda or any other of the CMs/GMs if you are for whatever reason reading this thread PLEASE get this patch. :V

I don't know of a way to toggle it on/off during playback, but you CAN record it completely with effects on, even if you played with effects off.
I haven't been able to find a way to change settings while the replay client is open. But it will load whatever settings you last exited (in admin mode) the real client. So if you load up the replay with effects off, just close it, open up the real client as admin, turn effects on, close it, and reopen the replay client. It should start with effects on then.

Editing programs I would suggests Sony Vegas 12 (64bit Windows) or Cyberlink PowerDirector 11. Some go for extreme creativity and opt Cinema 4D. I can make a transformer-like animation if I have them installed (learned from YouTube).
Uploading sites would be YouTube or Vimeo (vimeo currently doesn't block copyrighted background music like some video on YouTube.) Just remember to quote the privacy act in the description yep.

Oh, I see. Thanks~ might not be able to use it for WoE because of the lack of emblems until that's fixed, but it'll still have it's uses for other in-game recordings at least.
IIRC, removing all guild emblem in the emblem folder forced the recording made with RO's recorder to properly show the emblem in the replay later on. I need someone to quote on this, but might be worth a try too.

Basically, the current ingame recording only captures emblems if it tries to download the emblem while you're recording. If the emblem has not changed since the last time you tried to view it, it does not need to download and will not show up.
Deleting all emblems in the folder will force the client to download every emblem you come across after you start recording. However... it seems like your own guild emblem is downloaded as soon as you log in, before you can even begin recording. So unless I'm doing something wrong, I can never get my own guild emblem to show up even with this method.
