Hey guys, I'm new to playing Ragnarok and when I first opened it, it said that it failed to write Ragexe.exe
Could someone please tell me what to do. I have the latest version of DirectX installed and im running Windows 7 home premium if that helps.

You need to run your game as administrator.
Right-click the Ragnarok icon and select run as administrator.
If you are trying to play the Free version you need to open your RagnarokOnline folder and run RagnarokFree also as administrator.
The default folder for the installation is C:\Program Files\Gravity\RagnarokOnline

Remember to rightclick it and set it to _always_ run as administrator.
sometimes patching as admin and sometimes not, while it theoretically should only waste time and bandwidth downloading updates twice has been observed to cause patches to be missed (situations of "when i run as admin, this doesn't work, but when i don't, this other thing doesn't work" are the result, and it requires a reinstall or hex editor to fix)
