I'd say basic UI being overlooked. It seems like they didn't pay much attention to the UI at all. Basically just went "Well, it shows stuff and... stuff... DONE!"I asked in chat about changing font size and was met by alot of aggression, it seems there is no way to change the chat text. Even saving the window size preferences between logins, alpha of the background or location on the screen. Basic UI being overlooked or is this game really that infant

Technically, that's all a UI needs to do. This isn't WoW.

other engines have different styles however.
@zerotigress i would love to attempt at getting those interface images out of the screenshots, but they're too small.

If we can find old beta RO2 client - we can extract them and apply to newer client.
that would be cool

this is not true, you can easly change the font and size go to ragnarok online2\UI\FONT remove the AritaSans-Bold.otf and replace it with a bigger font and name it AritaSans-Bold agianI asked in chat about changing font size and was met by alot of aggression, it seems there is no way to change the chat text. Or you can use the font.xml file that is there and change ALL the fonts and ALL the font sizes... if you find out which index number corresponds to which font being displayed without restarting your game 8754847 times, that is...this is not true, you can easly change the font and size go to ragnarok online2\UI\FONT remove the AritaSans-Bold.otf and replace it with a bigger font and name it AritaSans-Bold agian

Not if a Separate VDK file is made (it kinda accepts custom ones like One certain mmo does with patch-number stuff)
Can you explain what you mean by custom? More generally, can you explain how exactly to do this? (Assuming it's legal and you are allowed to post the instructions.)

Ok as soon as I see him (whoever he is).

I never said this was WoW, so I'm not sure why you even brought it up. A rather silly response, honestly.Technically, that's all a UI needs to do. This isn't WoW.
A properly functioning, intuitive, smooth and attractive UI is important for any game, and this one barely has the "properly functioning" part down. Yes, "technically" all a UI needs to do is show you information, but how that information is shown is extremely important to any developer who isn't just being lazy.

This.
In WoW you had a large way of editing your ui through the options or addons.
In this game you have one of the most laughable UI's ever in a mmo.
Clunky, Ugly, and useless.

Not sure why they decided to have such a leathery UI, those other ones look great.

This one shows the character, skills, card album, and bag windows from the wing interface.

This forum thread shows both wings and curly interfaces.
