hi guys,

i need help, cant patch ROSE, GenPatch keeps prompting:
"Download Interrupted (patch.roseonlinegame.com:80)
The header download request was interrupted or the connection was lost."

can anyone help me???

nope, ESET security actually. so it's the security program blocking the patch?

As far as i know no. Eset smart security isn't generally so harshly blocking for no reason like AVG.
So its something else... Post a tracert here.

try redownload it, after patch 305 i got also errors and my patch was corrupted, delete and redownloaded it and works fine again

the ping seems to be fine, this is killing me....

it's not working, the same error msg pops out when it's trying to patch again.

Ping ms is irrelevant with if you connect or not at the final destination 128.241.92.35 ....

hmm weird, did u uninstall and deleted all rose files before u did?

yup, uninstalled and cleaned with Ccleaner

erm guys, somehow i manage to get into ROSE once from the GenPatch, but subsequently the same error pops out again.

running on window xp, admin. the error msg just keeps poping out when GenPatch is starting to patch.

I've noticed that the interrupt error tends to appear on slower computers and slower network connections. If you keep retrying the patching process, it will eventually finish. You may want to make sure you aren't running several processor or bandwidth hogging applications if you belong to either of the above categories.

ya computer speed could be the problem. but now i know how to get the start button to light up, the first ROSE launcher, the patch bar will be stuck at zlib1.dlll, but if i open another ROSE laucher without closing the first ROSE launcher, the play button will be light up and i will be able to start the game, not sure what is wrong with it.

zlib1.dll means you have corrupted your client by using both official and genpatch launchers.
Reinstall and decide what launcher you will use and stick with it. Genpatch is the way to go if you ask me.
