Your post is hard to read Blackthunder. You have it backwards, the ones trying to manipulate you into being against a Roll Back, are the cheaters and abusers responsible for this whole mess in the first place. They don't want a roll back because all their efforts to sabotage the server for their own personal gains would be in vein. Don't believe the propaganda. It's all put there to sway the minds of the weak.

Try to put yourself in the other person's shoes to get a better understanding. If you're only seeing your side of the debate, then you're lacking 50% understanding of the whole picture.

Ermmm. I think you aren't seeing the whole picture either. Not everyone who is against the rollback is a cheater. There are also normal players who just don't want to repeat the time and effort they had already spent. Look in the mirror before criticizing others.

I, for one, am against the rollback because it will do far too much damage to the community just to satisfy the jealous folks.

Honestly, this debate is going nowhere. We don't even have enough feedback. Look at the people that have been posting in this thread. How many different people do you see? I just see like the same 5-10 people posting the same crap over and over again for the most part. I wouldn't be surprised if there are alt accounts posting in here. What does this say about the forums? Not everyone reads the forums. Not everyone knows and understands what happened to the market as of recently. Let the GM's do what they plan to do first. Until then it's just us bickering among ourselves. We're all worried for the game, even if we can't fully understand the implications behind each decision that can be made.

TL:DR
Just let the GM's do their damn job first. They seem to have an idea on what they'd like to do.

This. I don't support the rollback either but that doesn't = omg we profited from the AH in the last few days or obtained illegal zeny. I think the GM's are doing all they can to fix the damage without causing an even bigger mess. We already had an uproar about the founder titles (some people still clearly upset about that) so if they did a rollback now I'm sure there will be quite a few upset players too.

I would more prefer on wiping out the server. as long they wont include the blood points and willing to refund the kafra points that had been used since the game started. Wiping out the sever is the best solution for this crap,i've been playing this game like 2 months but i felt disappointed due to market economy and i guess everybody does.

Even if there's a rollback , it's too late to rollback right now.. why ?

The answer is easy : The more you wait , the less you are able to rollback a server , AH issue has been like this since 2 weeks.

The only way to fix this (I think) is to put regular announcement and tell people to not buy these overpriced items.

Help me understand how wiping the entire server except bloodpoints would make sense at all?
The demands people make on the forums are just mindblowing to me sometimes - re: this entire thread.

Harassment will not be tolerated. Keep it friendly or expect a closed thread.

If you find your post has disappeared, you quoted the offending post.

Since my post got deleted.
Sorry if it looked like harassment, english is not my mother language.
But it wasnt meant so. I didnt say "he" was stupid or something, i speak about all who took advantage of this.

Everyone who plays european ro1, know about,
i played this game, alot there, with bug of item duping, 2 times, bug of kafra shop, bug of whatelse.
Even the Publisher fail, the "abusers" got their punishment, rollback or not.
Else im stupid, or just think to fair, never just try to take advantage of such stuff.

And i just get sick, when i as a Fair Player, probaly have to fear a rollback, zeny wipe, when i have not much, be happy, to earned my first costumes, pretty lucky, got my first rhd gears.
And then "WIPE WIPE WIPE" .... words from one of the Abusers..

I put all my trust on the GM's that they find a way. Or probaly my RO2 Journey was very short :|

I just wish people would understand that a kafra point refund would not make a roll back okay.

A poll! What a great idea! Let the community decide what it thinks would be best. If the rationale against rollbacks is it ruining the progress and effort of the community, then surely the community would vote against a rollback as a majority, yes? Yet I'm totally ready to wipe out my last week of progress, losing my colo pants into the bargain and at least 300 raid tokens, to see the economy of RO2 repaired.

Give us a poll! Let us decide what we think is more or less harmful to out gameplay experience! You don't have to act on it, Warp Portal, but it would be a useful way to gauge the impact of such a deed, as opposed to simply assuming the Nuclear option would do more damage to the bottom line.

Actually that might not work out as well in your favor (and mine) as you think. Remember, the forum attracts only the noisiest. Unfortunately, the noisy ones seem to mostly be crying "ROLLBACK! ROLLBACK!" even as they're bombarded with all the reasons it shouldn't and won't happen.

I am against server-wide rollbacks for a number of reasons I have no doubt have been repeated throughout this thread. Why not a targeted rollback of those people who participated (and profited) in legal AH transactions? If they can identify illegitimate transactions I'm sure they can identify legitimate ones.

Basically:

1) Illegitimate transaction/zeny profiting: BANNED
2) Legitimate transaction/profiting (by unknowingly matching the inflated prices, and sold the items): ROLLBACK
3) Non-participants in either (about 80% of the population, have no idea what's going on, just innocently questing away): LEAVE THEM BE

I am in the 3rd classification, and I would hate to see my hard-earned levels & zeny wiped away because of the fault of the few.

This. But I'm sure the issue is more complicated that this wouldn't be that easy. If not, I hope they follow something along the lines of this. I too, am part of that third category.

You seem to not fully grasp the situation my friend. The people who benefited from the illegitimate zeny have already bought up the market with it thus scattering this corrupted zeny throughout the server to legit players. This has destroyed the economy in an unrepairable way without some "form" of rollback. Period.

A rollback may make some people feel less cheated by those who seized a timely opportunity to earn money, sure. But speaking as someone who barely touched the auction house all weekend (I was tracking potion ingredient costs, that's about it), and possibly speaking for other players who played fairly over the weekend for their gains, it gives off only one message:

The company does not value the time put into the game by its players, and that it must penalize innocent players in order to fix issues that has developed under its oversight. Furthermore, if the company can disrespect our time once, who says they wouldn't do it again?

Last I checked, properly functional legal systems did not punish bystanders -- the majority of the populace -- for the unlawful actions of a few. I certainly hope that is not the message that warpportal and RO2 GMs want to give. A rollback may or may not fix the economy, but it is certainly a cheap, lazy, and irresponsible behavior on the part of the game company. Cheaters and hackers plague the internet, and if every time something like this happened in the future the only fix is for us to see hours of our time wasted, then... well, I think the answer is pretty obvious for players who value their weekend time investments. Move on.

From that perspective, I feel glad that the current stated resolution seems to be a precision attack on cheating accounts. It shows that the company is willing to put effort into a solution rather than taking some cheap way out.
