I started playing ragnarok again cause I saw the comercial for K/O on youtube, and I was expecting it to be a fun class for casual gamers, but turns out it was so very dissapointing really cause currently I'm killing increase soil with throw huma shuriken which causes 4K damage ( with blaze shuriken) and heatwave kunai that causes 2K damage. Increase soil is Earth 2 element monster so why is my TK cause less damage ( by the way my str is 82 ). I have read in the past articles that TK was much stronger before and my character is dirt poor only 50K currently, and the cost of making heat wave kunai is 100z for thorn needle shuriken and 150 for flame stone, its also frustrating I dont know where to lvl anymore, the cost of potions is a drain too, what were the GM's thinking implementing a SUPER NERF on skills, and are there news of returning the post renewal damage or something on those lines?

um... not sure what increase soil is... kunai damage has been returned to its natural prerenewal damage... its a bit rough to level as a ninja but not really any moreso than any other class... once you get to 99 and job change things get ALOT better... i started killing MVPs in the 115 range...

Increase Soil is called Mi Gao on iRO.

Throw Kunai is no more or less powerful than it was pre-renewal. You couldn't 1-shot stuff with it back then, and the damage was always a little disappointing.

Throw Huuma Shiruken has been buffed significantly vs pre-renewal.

Between renewal update and the second renewal balance patch, though, throw kunai was bugged and was applying the element modifier twice (ie, it modified the damage once, then multiplied that by the modifier AGAIN) - this made it possible to go from 1-99 in under 2 hours, 1-shotting every monster from the time you maxed throw kunai until 99. This was obviously unbalanced and needed a nerf. Unfortunately, after the nerf, throw kunai is a bit too weak.

There's probably a better place to level a ninja, but I don't know what it is, because I did all my ninja leveling before the nerf. It's also a hard class to start on, due to the funding issue.

i did all my leveling pre-renewal... but if you come find my guild we can certainly help you level... we are all ninja and usually one of us is in Amatsu... Blue Lotus Clan...

where in amatsu do your guild usually hang, also finding your guild will be something of a problem I'm from philippines and well standard time differs. And oh you could probably pm me in game marvelmarvelous.

I used about 5 lancer scrolls + VIP to get myself from 1 to 99 via Overlooked dungeon (1 map west of Greffen).
