-Still more to do to get USRC scripted onto Classic, we are still cranking on it

 

-Weekly Update to Fire Sale NPC

 

-Fish Head Hat and X3 Battle Manual made trade/vendable

 

-Endless tower cooldown reduced from 6 days 20 hours to 6 days 18 hours

 

July 24
 
-Continuing to prep USRC arena with leveling, item, skill reset, etc. NPCs for people to set up characters and practice in special area on Classic server. 
 
-Preparing next month's spotlight (Louyang)
 
-Sunday fire sale NPC fixed and will be visiting next Sunday.
 
Projects we will be working on developing after Classic USRC setup is complete: 
 
-Long Quest with chance of receiving slotted mid-gear
-Update to Classic cooking (be able to break 20 minute foods into 5 minute versions)
-20 point stat reset NPC
-Better novice training area

 
Also, we are getting more GM resources spent specifically hunting bots, so please make sure to send in reports. 
 
July 17
-Through some experimenting we've done we have found a way to display some of the hidden stat enchants on Classic. 
This only works for items that have a slot with a card in it, for example:

Frilladora, Dokebi, Leaf Cat, Alligator and Demon Pungus repeatable exp quests added. 
Last month's Lucky box items leave boxter's list, and Groove Pack items will be exchangable. Boxter will be giving out July Groove Packs.

Working on a plan of action to unbind high level equipment sets and implement stronger but account bound versions, looking at next week for these to become unbound. 
 
Veins Spotlight quest! Speak with the NPC Medium in the north of Veins to begin. The reward for completing the quest is a free Stars and Stripes Bandana! Next week hints and clues will be posted...

Also Sphinx 5 spawns seem a little wrong right now!

this is worse than only having account bound. don't do this.
 

 

you guys need to let go and just unbind everything, what is stopping you from doing this? there is not a single person that supports the bound gear, it is simply mindboggling that you guys just don't give in to something 100% of people disagree with. you put in mega resist pots at the demand of 1 player but you won't listen to hundreds of players. bound gear is not "classic", real classic ro everything is tradable.

Ya we made some pretty good cases for this with some options in the thread it was first mentioned. Is there any chance you could start to give us some previews of what you'd like to do with the 'beefier' versions? This has huge negative implications and could break the game in many ways, we dont know what you're thinking and this makes us a little nervous.

 

Also, next week is much earlier than I expected the unbinding to happen, this is awesome thanks!

Any chance of un-nerfing element sword combo to proc off a manual cold bolt cast?

 

Currently the combo only works when normal attacks.

Currently kasa's turn on reflect when they have <30% hp remaining, Oda said they weren't going to modify them then how they act already.

By default some monsters spawn in certain areas, this keeps the map from getting too mobby. Because they spawn quickly in the same areas you can set up a group that just kills the same one over and over. It's good exp that you can do in a group. But it's somewhat easy to grief so the GMs are not interested in dealing with any drama started by letting us have those spawns.

Its been some time since we got the 2x Battleground's reward, can we have that implemented as an Independence Day event?

 

A WarpPortal Energy or Kafra Points sales event is also welcomed. :)

If Nameless Dungeon is going to require the normal quests please remember that the trigger NPC for the Curse of Gae Bolg quest is not in-game right now.

 

Also, the Veins Sibling Quest requires an extremely large amount of green herbs. This was fine on the old servers because the servers were 6-7 years old and most people had a large collection lying around, and goats was a very popular map with the turn-in npc so green herbs were easily available.

 

This server is less than a year old with a much smaller population. Expecting each player wanting to go to Nameless to have to get 1k+ green herbs potentially is just going to lead to bots hunting the herbs and people buying it because it's such a waste of time. You should just remove the green herb portion for the Camels or reduce the amount needed to 10% of the normal amount. Thanks.
