We need some new shaman guides as the other guides are kind of old... Please help out fellow shamaners!

level 80 PvE build:

http://irowiki.org/~...000350001010500

Use remaining points wherever you desire.

Keep all 3 summons(mist, blesser, golgon) out at all times, keep smare shot active at all times. Use rolling stone to push large groups of mobs together, drop meteor and earthquake on large groups, use smare shot against bosses or to clean up small packs. Most other skills will either slow you down or are simply not efficient for PvE. Try to keep mobs grounded at all times, launching them will just massively slow you down. make sure all passives and masteries are maxed asap. Use Dark Knight against strong monsters or that Woodie you just want to watch burn.

Level 80 PvP build:

http://irowiki.org/~...000350011010553

Your job in pvp is to make everyones elses life miserable, so your team can pick on them. Use spell trap to catch, quickly use rolling stone after to stun them, try to aim them towards a wall, after you have stunned your prey, drop an earthquake on them to prevent dash and jump for a bit. Use these 3 main tools while keeping smare shot up for filler damage, golgon will beat on people, DK will eat someones face. Alternatively, you can take points out of various things of your choosing and grab mana burn, you'll be shunned by the world but who cares they wont have the MP to do anything about it. Also, make sure to keep your summons out and alive for the casting speed passive, its pretty important.

Theres a very brief rundown on how to play the class effectively(in my opinion) at max level.

If it has been changed to give an absolute(total) of your defense now, yes.

Otherwise, no.

What do you mean by absolute(total) to defense?

Simply means, if it calculates using your defense with your armor added into it instead of just using your base defense.

Endbringer, if it isn't too much hassle, can you please tell me what clothings I should pay attention to at 70+?  I have the secmathian clothings but I noticed that their set bonus doesn't really help me out that much.

Honestly with the new crit damage caps, i'm not sure. Currently i run 3 pieces of Secmathian(chest, boots, shoulders), Casharp helmet, hero bone dragon pants(for the move speed) and health Alex gloves. I would focus on getting your crit damage capped, and then heavily invest into health now, Nation fury feeds off it quite nicely.
