So, with WoE arriving, who's staying support and sacrificing themselves for their guild, given that what we've seen so far indicates:

- FS is unlikely to gain any Honor/Blood Points from healing (*pending confirmation)

- FS will still lose Blood Points if they die on the WoE map

If you ARE staying support, what build will you be using? I presume the optimal WoE support build will be different to the optimal raid FS build

Also, who's going to respec into a battle priest? If you are, what's your build gonna be?

I believe if you're in a party, the BP is split among the party members. I'll test it once the maps open today.

I'm just gonna yoloswag it and use my raid FS build. Although I think max recovery and sanc will be extremely useful if anyone is planning on running a WoE FS build.

I just hope Sanc does not heal enemies...

I still think Recovery is overrated - it'd work if it had like, half the cooldown.  10 seconds, what's the point? Unless you have like 2-3 Priests with lv 5 Recovery casting in rotation...

Sanc is good but if someone has a stun ready then gg.

Also, I can feel it - Aspersio + Judex is gonna become a "thing" that people will start crying about.  3-sec stun on 3 ppl is OP in group fights.

Can confirm that FS gets the short end of the stick in WoE. BP is awarded based on (%?) damage dealt, even if you're in a party/raid. You also lose the same amount of BP as everyone else (seems to be 4%?) when killed.

It's probably too early to discuss skills/tactics, but Res (self-explanatory), Agility (can't use mounts, useful for chasing or running), Recovery (CC everywhere), and Sanc (duh) all seem useful to max.

Beastmaster's wild impact is going to be more to cry about then... 3 second stun on 10 people on a 30 second cooldown vs 3 second stun on 3 people on a shared 20 second cooldown (shared with anything else you'd want to use asp for).

Or frost nova, which may not stun, but incapacitates any melee characters and sets everyone up for a massive ass raping by sorcs.

yeah sorcs are OP, frost diver's cooldown doesn't even compare to the rest.

even though FS don't get BP from healing right now, they said they'll look into that so this might change in the future, until then gonna have to sit tight.

WoE-specific support builds look like they're gonna be very different to normal builds, like Lyrinn said, max Rez/Agi/Recovery/Coluseo/Sanc all need to be there.

Which brings us to the question of how much healing skills to sacrifice for these...

Well in RO1, you could make a very strong case for having level 3/10 Heal on a WoE priest.. (and then only level 3 because it was a prereq) but then again, pots had no cooldown in RO1.

I suppose if cash shop pots are disabled in woe, heal will still have a use.

Might be worth sacrificing some stuff to gain better cooldowns on other skills that weren't maxed before, though.

I don't agree with all of this. Ress is still a difference between using it once or twice a WoE. With respawn kafras as long as you hold ground you are fine anyway. Sure - one more ress in a WoE is nice, but by no means the impact is so big it is a must have.

Agi up is inferior to Wind Potions. Any serious guild will have to be spamming those when moving. 4 points investment for a shorter CD on this skill sounds like a waste for WoE priest.

Recovery - we will have to see more. From those initial test WoEs it did not seem very useful. Also - has anyone done research on this skill targetting system? Will it 'count' only targets affected by debuffs or if you hit the mob of 10 people you will have to get lucky?

Even Sanc could be debatable. I do think it will be part of optimal WoE build, but standing still in one place is not so good and people who do so can easily get 100-0 inbetween ticks. Level 1 for 10% hp when breaking precast - that for sure. Right now there do not seem to be better places to invest those points, but I can easily see woe priests cutting on sanc if something better is discovered.

Coluseo is one skill I 100% agree on. It should be max on any priest that intends to WoE.
