Yeah lol

 

Just have him camping the spawn and enforcing it. If anyone initiates any sort of attacks within range then they'll quickly find their insides turned to ribbons.

For him to do that 24/7, a GM must need a bot himself.

They are chileans, like me, couldn't expect more unfair cheats from them. Gonna kick my own patriots then, so sorry. :D

During WoE, yes this would be a strategy. But seeing as there are quests on this map and it is keeping anyone from being able to do them, or even LOOK at the map while WoE is not active, it is an issue.

Except this is a PVP map where one guild alliance controls it. They would be stupid to let johnny new 50 stroll in and beat dailies so he could one day gear up and pose a threat. Did you honestly expect to go questing and explore uncontested there? People are jerks in online games, especially in open pvp areas.

The amount of BP that is being taken seems way too high.

I'm compiling a list of issues we are seeing right now (Trades, long distance flying, etc) and will see if we can get them fixed ASAP.

We will have to think of a solution for door camping, too.


I would assume the easiest solution would be to give players a 10-20s buff when entering the map that makes them untargetable. Once they attack someone or the buff drops naturally then they're fair game.

I don't know what kind of games you play before, but "open pvp areas" usually got a little tinny bitty place called neutral zone where you cannot pvp inside because the citizens or the -_- npcs there forbids it.

 

OR there will be no fixed spawn point. Everyone enters and spawns in random spots.

 

This ro2's pvp map is just stupid.

Back in RO1 it was called a pre-cast and was a legitimate strategy.

 

 

Killing someone who isnt loaded fully into the map is considered harassment in every MMO ive played. And I only missed one or 2 anime mmo's in my gaming life.

 

Don;t allow it WP its -_- annoying and a waste of time.

When we tested it, the number of BP lost was not that high.

 

This bp reduction point system probably should have been re-looked at before release.

No we expect the game to be made properly. Just because its a pvp map. Does NOT mean you should be able to block all entry to it.

 

Im a ranger so I easily rezzed and used camo to hide and laugh at the troll guilds camping the spawns. But its unacceptable on WP's part to not implement a small area at the spawn that is safe from pk.

 

You theory is just plain stupid. Think you should read over what your wrote again.

Seems like loosing 10% BP and max of 24k. And the lost BP will be shared on the killers raid members.

Max? There's a cap on how much you'll lose bp in a certain period of time?

I noticed the guilds camping the spawns keep changing. I took the opportunity while downed to spy on them and when another guild came in to slaughter them all I respawned and quickly rushed through. xD

well, I lost about 20.000 blood points after dead from there (at the entrance, instant kill because those guild).

Hackers can make that buff 24/7 like what people's reports about Colo's poring buff.

IMO, a non pvp area/camp/spot, where there are merchants for potions, etc, is better.

Just logged in, took a few quest and checked out WoE.

 

Died the first time I stepped foot inside, obviously camped by big guilds.

 

Tried again, both times lost 9k blood points.

 

Once again, camped by another big guild, Zerg like.

 

WoE is not a place for small guilds or anyone solo without stealth (if lucky to get away from AOE)

 

Compared to Colosseum WoE is way worse on the zerg-like-scale.

 

At least Colo, everyone's stat is balanced.

 

The amount of blood points lost in mere minutes out shines the amount you can earn in 2 rounds which would take long and time limited per day.

 

As this is kept, all the people who have farmed and gathered PVP gear would feel their time wasted since the implied idea is Join a BIG guild (in numbers) and ZERG as you can gain more than the time invested in Colosseum.

 

Anyways, just my 2 cent.

I've yet to update and patch my game, but I already have concerns relating to Guilds/Teams spawn camping the WoE open pvp map. I've already read posts about people doing this. I tihnk a good fix would be to give all players entering the map a 10-15 invicibility buff. This would benefit and give all players an equal advantage. Plus this would stop with all the zone in camping. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
