What does this actually do? The description is a little jumbled to make sense of.

I'm gonna guess it gives card synthesis a 100% success rate, if not higher than 50%

 

if it's not that, then it's a non Kafra Card Designation item.

I saw it in auction, but I had no idea what it does.

that is used for upgrading your cards to +10 just like weapons and armors provided that your card is normal+

What does a +10 card even mean? All i know is i'm clicking on this Card Stone In-game and nothing is happening.

 

 

Also that description is the old card description which looks to be nonesense to me.

card upgrading system isn't implemented yet, it will come along with fallen fortress update. you need several pieces of card enhance stones (green, blue or purple) depending on the level of card and its rarity as well as some zeny for upgrade costs (prices also depend on level and rarity of the cards). You can also add a card coating paper (a kafra item, works the same effect as karnium but only for cards, its optional) if you fear of degrading/tearing your cards to pieces once it fails.

 

 

the effect of upgraded normal+/rare+/epic+ is that they have increased stats compared to regular compounded cards. the card set effect will remain the same regardless of upgrades.

the success rate of upgrading the card is exactly the same as upgrading weapons and armors as well as its failing system where green cards degrade, blue cards reset to 0, and yellow cards breaks.

 

trying to upgrade lv 10 and below cards may not produce additional stats when upgraded.

So do upgrades on cards give % stats depending on the refine amount? It's just weird they gave us the green card stone by itself without saying anything though.

probably yes, if weapons gives +3% atk/matk per upgrade, armors at +1% def per upgrade, cards will give 10% more stats per upgrade.

 

 

at +10, cards will have 2x of its stats compared to +0 cards

I dont see any card coating paper around. How do i get it?

 

If the card is already equip I suppose I cant enhance it any more, is that right?

Welp, that's a necro post!

 

1) That item has not been implemented yet. The CMs suggested it might come out next month or so.

 

2) With the upgrading system, cards can now be removed without being destroyed.
