Were people very uhappy in RO1 when WOE winner was decided by last hit on the emp? I understand that that is not currently being done, and makes sense since a lot of people complain about colo being last hit, but this is completely different from colo and I think it makes sense to copy as many aspect of RO1 woe since it was relatively successful. 

 

What do other people think, and people that actually have/took castles. I personally think it would add more excitement, and make it so that smaller guilds would still try to play as well. 

 

TLDR what do people think of not showing emp hp and making it decided by last hit?

I stated this in another topic, but there is a scenario possible with current system I am not sure I am too fond of. When defenders think they can't hold the castle, they just let a group of allies (or possibly even alts) through, while still fending of attackers. The 'allies' kill the guard and do 51% dmg to emp. When defence is finally broken and attackers reach emproom they can't do anything to actually get the castle.

I personally would totally hate the last hit on emp idea. Have u seen the HP on the emp? I think someone posted a thread that he afterwards deleted...? But it was like in the 5 digits. That's about the same as hitting a hard mode raid boss but i'm pretty sure by looking at how long it took people to break it yesterday, it would have been -_-ty if someone snuck past the defense and got into the castle and smacked that last hit. LOL. I'm pretty sure for any of the guilds, if they were like 99% down the the emp, they would be furious. This isnt like the RO1 emp where u can basically gear urself enough and kill it within a few minutes.

Last hit on Emp will be very bad: Mass rangers gather around the emp while camouflaged and just attack the emp when it is nearly down. So a single ranger COULD take over the whole castle haha. Good idea. :) Or imagine an hidden Assassin who takes over a ram at the end and get the last hit. Also funny. ^^

But that exact thing happened in RO 1 right? Also the better your guild is the more likely you can kill other people there and more people you will have hitting it, hence increasing your chances. If a bad group gets it, you just mow them over and take it again. Maybe weaken the emp then? Not sure, but all things we should think about. 

 

Currently if it is which guild does most damage (I may be wrong about this), then why would a small guild ever even try since they will never be able to get majority damage.

RO1. Mage classes had sight, priest classes Ruwach, ranger classes had detect using their falcons etc. 

U cannot compare Ro2 to RO1 in this aspect already.

Add those detection skills to mentioned classes and we are already a better game. Also almost any class can detect hidden with aoe, but wtih emproom size that would be a real pain.

 

You can make HP of emp invisible to level those ninja takeovers.

Asking for KS on the emp is not a solution to balance WoE. WoE needs more castles + guild member cap to balance things out. Whoever does the most damage on the emp most likey survived the GvGs so they deserve to take the castle.

 

 

Can someone tell me what the guild member cap is for WoE if not already? Is Collision just steamrolling everyone with superior numbers or does a cap already exist?

Superior numbers? For RO1 its 76 members no? I doubt there's even that many on the map. LOL
