My character who is a high priest used to have: Kyrie Eleison, Gloria, Suffraguim, safety wall, sanctuary, Aspersio, Signum Crucis, decrease agility and demon bane. Now they aren't usable. I'm a job level 27 and there are no skill points to bring back my lost skills. 

Anyone else have this problem and how do I fix this?

Can you describe your testing methodology? 

 

I suspect either:

* You were ineligible to use skills (sitting, silenced, inside the CP that some silly bard+dancer put up in town which you didn't see because you have effects off)

* You had just changed maps or relogged, and were trying to use them through the skill window - and you got the mouse bug**, so mouse clicks weren't working. You satisfied yourself that it wasn't working, then tabbed out to write about it, without having noticed that the client wasn't accepting ANY mouseclicks. And when you tabbed back, mouse clicks were working, so you had no trouble moving around and such (and didn't realize that your skills would have worked if you tried them again) 

 

** The mouse bug happens sometimes when you change maps or relog, on a client that hasn't been running/in use for long (I'm not sure whether it's time, or number of map changes, or something else that matters, but it only seems to happen on freshly started clients). In this bugged state, the mouse works normally in game, except that mouse click events are ignored entirely. When it happens, just Alt+tab out of the RO window and back, and the mouse will work again. And like I said, it stops happening after the client's been open a while. 

 

 

Oh - and demon bane is a passive skill. If you have it, it is continuously in effect.

To supplement what DrAzzy said:

• Try logging out and then back in if you haven't already.
• Can you use any of your character's skills?
• How are you trying to use the skills — using skill window window or using keyboard shortcuts?
• Have you tried every possible method of using the skills? For example, if you're unable to use the skills using the skill window, then try using keyboard shortcuts.

Oh ya, good call on relogging. If you're using them from the skill window, you can bug up the UI so the skill window won't work right until you relog.
