I have a question regarding the LoR/Deluge bug... do they cancel each other out everytime? Even before the dreaded 7/10 patch, I had noticed that Deluge and Aqua summon were acting very buggy, and sometimes they either wouldn't work at all, or they would work very late. Like deluge healing me for 2 seconds before it disappears.

A single priest DoT spells stack on a single target at one time because they are all different spells.

 

LoR and Deluge are also 2 separate skills down 2 different paths while one is an AoE HoT the other is a Max HP Buff with a built in HoT. I could see if double stacking LoRs was not intentional but your 'justifications' make no sense. Superior argument? I'd rather shoot for the intelligent argument - more things get accomplished that way.

 

 

 

To me the dot from land spells should only be active when the land spells effect is as well. Just like when a dot only heals/damages when the small graphical indication says so. The difference is the land spell requires you stand on the area to heal while other dots are applied to the target directly. To prevent abuse land spells do not overlap and thats my take on it, if you think land spells should overlap well fine, we'll just see whos right.

From what I have tested LoR/Deluge cancels each other out. Me and a couple other guildie sorcs tried and tested it to make sure it just wasn't one of us. Though we also noticed that Deluge was acting weird before the 7/10 patch during our CoA Norm/Hard runs. It was like if you casted LoR and than followed with deluge there was a random chance Deluge would work or it would only start working once LoR dissipated or not work at all. We could manage our runs with a couple hiccups like that but with these new bugs it makes CoA runs very frustrating. Kind of waiting to see what the GMs are going to say about all these bugs before we start investing time in CoA.

Yes i already explained my reasoning and you have yet to tell your side of the story. Yelling at me to show "proof" does nothing to further your agenda but make you look like a fool. GMs will provide the final answer and we all get to speculate who is right and who is wrong until then.

your (reasoning) is only what YOU think it is. yelling? i never yelled Mr hillbilly. look like a fool? im not the one who got his post edited by a MOD.  talking with sumone who has no power over the game and only thinks how it works and how he thinks the GMs will have it. is a wast of my time
