WARRGH! I AM LU BU, and today I am going to make my own special wishlist for WoE that will be the greatest thing ever. If you guys can pull it off I garentee you will make BILLIONS...no wait...MILLIONS OF DOLLARS AND EVERYONE WILL PLAY THIS GAME UNTIL THEY ARE OVER 9000 YEARS OLD WITH A NATURAL FEAR OF STAIRS
First thing...MAKE A NEW MAP GOD DAMMIT
RIGHT NOW THE WOE MAP LOOKS LIKE THE BATTLE OF HU LAO GATE. THAT'S SUPER AWESOME AND I LOVE FIGHTING LIU BEI AND HIS BROTHERS ALL AT ONCE AND ALL, BUT THAT MAP IS ONLY REALLY SUITED TO 1 v 1 FIGHTS (or alliance vs alliance) INSTEAD OF A FREE FOR ALL BATTLE FOR THE FATE OF THE ENTIRE SERVER. FOR THAT IT SHOULD CHANGE INTO SOMETHING BAD ASS LIKE ROMANCE OF THE THREE KINGDOMS MAP WITH A MILLION ROADS (with flat grounds around them) instead of this Initial D Mt. Akina BS we have now. The map we have now is great if we are racing trueno 86 pecos downhill with each other, but the map as it is now is just ONE BIG LINEAR CHOKE POINT with no real room for creativity.
How the RoTK map will work if I have my way:
1. A MASSIVE MAP WITH A **** TONS OF ROADS, PLENTY OF ROOM TO MANEUVER, AND TO EXECUTE PINCER ATTACKS OR SOMETHING COOL LIKE THAT
2. Many different castles and towns with various amounts of wealth or power ups, so big guilds and small guilds alike can all get realistic goals to reach for instead of this whole ONE GUILD TAKES ALL business we have right now. That also can make way for alliances to actually be viable and actually having assets to defend for the other guilds instead of the current NOTHING TO LOSE DEAL for everyone else.
For example: Xia Pi Castle gives 5% tax income, Valestine Castle gives 10% tax, Bran Castle gives 15% tax, and SUPER MUSCLE CASTLE WITH ARMS GIVES OVER 9000% TAX
These castles will all be badass looking with their own maids for my cleaning and pleasure and towers of infinite arrows and ****, and the guild who hold them will be able to spawn and muster their numbers within the safety of their walls instead of GETTING SPAWN CAMPED...that being said
3. THIS MAP SHOULD HAVE 8 ENTRANCES 1 ON EACH SIDE WITH A HEALTHY AMOUNT OF WALKING BEFORE ACTUALLY REACHING THE BATTLE
Second...LU BU's IDEAS FOR NEW AND INTERESTING FEATURES SO YOU CAN SIEGE CATTLES AND STILL HAVE FUN
1. FIRST AND FOREMOST LIMIT SIEGE WEAPONS ALREADY, I WANT A REAL WAR NOT JUST A BUNCH OF SIEGE WEAPONS KILLING CATTLES CHARGING IN THRU A WALL. YES I AM WELL AWARE I CAN USE THE SHIELD BUT THAT SHOULDN'T BE A REQUIREMENT! I WANT TO SEND MY ARMY OF BERSERKERS TO FIGHT AGAINST ANOTHER ARMY OF BERSERKERS IN GLORIOUS OPEN BATTLE SOMETIMES...YOU KNOW...ACTUALLY PLAYING MY CLASS INSTEAD OF PLAYING RO2: GUNBOUND ALL DAY.
2. Get rid of those automated defenses, at least make people work for their defenses.
3. Nerf the Cannons and Catapults so that they do a % of a person's health instead of a flat 7k (which will already wipe out a number of support units and undergeared tanks) and 20k. That amount of damage is fine against structures, but people?
4. FRIENDLY FIRE ON SIEGE WEAPONS, IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE A BIG O'L BOULDER MEANT FOR TAKING OUT BUILDINGS AND USE IT ON PEOPLE THERE SHOULD BE SOME FORM OF RISK
5. Supply lines and camps. I don't know too many wars that actually have every combatant carry a LIMITED AMOUNT of supplies so they can build a catapult or a pyramid or something. There should be an awesome option where you can designate one (or a few) persons in your guild to be logistics officers who are in charge of supplies. Where upon they can do AWESOME **** LIKE DRAG A BIG O'L CART OF SUPPLIES AROUND AND MOVE SLOWLY FROM THEIR HOME CASTLE (Or starting location on the map) TO BATTLE ZONES IN THE MAP (think Dolyaks in Guild Wars 2 except controlled) WITH PLAYER ESCORTS THAT COULD LEAD THEM TO GETTING AMBUSHED AND KILLED.
These supply carts, once there, can then be deployed (I would say 15 seconds channeled cast time) into AWESOME SUMMER CAMPS (can be destoryed) WHICH PROVIDE A SAVE SPOT, HEALTH RECOVERY ITEMS, AND WOE SUPPLIES TO BUILD SIEGE WEAPONS UNTIL IT'S OWN SUPPLIES OF MATERIALS AND REVIVES RUN OUT AND OUR POOR LOGICISTICS OFFICER WOULD HAVE TO RUN HIS ASS BACK HOME AND HAUL A SLOW ASS CART BACK AGAIN
6. THE ABILITY TO FIGHT ON WALLS (And the ability to destroy them with SIEGE WEAPONS) including new siege weapons like a simple ladder (which can be destroyed) that you can PUT AGAINST A WALL AND CLIMB UP! FIGHTING ON CASTLE WALLS IS EXTREMELY BAD ASS. I WOULD GLADLY ENDURE THE PAIN OF MY FAT AND USELESS ASS FALLING OFF THEM LADDERS BECAUSE SOMEONE BROKE IT.
7. The current POWER UP you get from the three emps might be a tad too overpowered, should nerf their bonuses to at least half, except for LU BU OF COURSE
IF YOU GUYS IMPLEMENT THESE AWESOME IDEAS I PUT UP INTO THE GAME I WOULD CUM OCEANS AND NONE OF YOU WILL FIND YOURSELVES THIRSTY EVER AGAIN ANd then...
