I keep seeing people chatting about "don't spend your BPs yet, wait for next month's tier 2 colo gear" and other such stuff. Can anyone clear up/confirm any rumors about this new set of gear? If it's being implemented, will they be bought with flat out BP? It wouldn't make any sense to me since there'd be no point buying the "tier 1" gear, so it'd probably give Victory Medals a use? Any help appreciated, I have my weapon and enough points for more parts of gear and would like to beef up my gear so I feel safer about delving into CoA raids.

I think we are all wondering if we should keep our BP right now or if we should buy Tier 1.

 

I'd like to add, as I already did on another topic, it'd be great if that Tier 2 stuff would just be a bit better than Tier 1, or even better, just be the same but with a quite large up on pvp defense and attack % so it would still be a great up for PvP matters and won't make next PvE content useless like it is right now. (CoA H clean the next day after release....).

 

One of the major players complaint is about the lack of content so please don't give them the tools to just destroy any new content you make !

Maybe it's about time to save and farm bp in colo. looking forward to another set of colo gear! Btw are they more expensive than the tier 1 or almost the same bp points ?

I think you may need to spend victory medals + guild tokens  + your tier 1 colo item + blood points to buy tier 2 colo

I really hope tier 1 gear is include as a prerequisite. I don't have anything yet and it would be awful for it to come out so I have to say "Whelp. I just have to save 200k more BP for every piece. No incremental upgrades in the meantime."

It would be an awful idea to have victory medals as part of the requirement.  You don't let others gear up with the best gear and dominate even more and just keep winning colo after colo.

Could a GM/CM chime in and say what is the current plan on the next PvP tier and on a side note Victory Tokens?  Subject to change of course.

 

Would it be..

- A new currency?

- Taking the current tier and upgrade it with a minor cost of either victory tokens or BP?  If going this route could you add statless versions of the Tier1 gear to players that enjoy the look of the gear for a low BP cost?

- Simply BP with the same cost as the current tier or more?  If so would there be a BP wipe?

- Is there any plan to Victory Tokens or no word from Korea?

 

Some of these answers would be helpful since now there is now knowledge of a new tier of items that is a month(or more) away.  I would like to know if I should stockpile or can safely spend my points.

 

 

I also believe that it'll be a recolored(black) AoD set.

very true they always have a new design for the costumes that keep coming out every maintenance  but they never pay attention on the pve and pvp design .

I agree on this ledise, I am not a costume fan that's why u see my character chizzmaks wear the same old crappy bathing suits lol. The colo gears for sorc is ugly...

I'd hate it for colo gear to be better than AoD gear in the sense that i barely step inside colo. Half the time i lag and just get wiped in first round or i dc altogether. If they do make tier two colo gear better than AoD gear ... i'd probably only stay to play noels.

kro2/SEARO2 already have them implemented? I can't seem to find any of the gear on database sites which also cover k/sea RO2. That'd kinda suck if true though, releasing more colo gear still without having a use for victory medals.

I like this idea, trade in ur tier 1 colo gear +additional bp to get tier. I myself dont hav a full colo set and even tho I know itll take longer to get tier 2 i dont mind doing it this way

Hm. I'm sure tier 2 gear will have something to do with Victory medals earned @ Colo.
