I'll repost about the "skill glue bug" here :

 

 

Some other examples:



1)You are running after a target and spam a skill. The target is running away, you keep chasing. Then you decide to use some other skill, like a temporary buff. But you can't. It won't let you use it until you catch up with your target and cast the skill you were spamming before.



2) Teleport bug (terrible). Doesn't happen all the time though. You are running and decide to teleport (or jumping under textures trying to get out with teleport). You press it a few times (because you can't be sure that it works if you only press once, that's a different problem with hotkeys i guess). You teleport. And then you MAY teleport again 20 seconds later WITHOUT pressing teleport.

-AOE markers are not being displayed correctly -Need more specific info (how much does it not match up etc)

 

Get them to try any hard raid Zanbee...

 

The markers are completely out of place. Red AoE cone marker shows up in a completely different direction than the place the AoE will hit. Sometimes it even shows "not attached' from the boss (it's supposed to spread outwards coming from where the boss is facing). Blue circles showing in a different place than the area it will hit.

For any quest where the NPC not appears, don't close the client, don't relog, don't change channel, just walk VEEEEEEEERY far away and come back.

 

Any distance past the 50m should be fine, the NPC will be there waiting for you when you come back.

The "in the water bug" is still here. Logged out in Alberta, logged in - I'm underwater in the middle of nowhere, losing hp.

PVE H is SUPER DUPER HARD even w/ good gears..I've done PVE H before and never had any problems....can i get a refund on my money PLEASE?????????

Not sure if this is just a problem on my end or not but often times while in colo if I try to use my Guardian to chase someone that has popped their Guardian my bar will instantly go from full to empty and 'll get the message "Guardian gauge not fully charged"

It's quite frustrating and I can't tell you how many final rounds have slipped through my fingers because I can't get within 2m of someone with nearly 200% movespeed buffs.

If this bug is intended then I will make it a point to burn my guardian at the start of any final round to make sure everyone else is screwed over.

When i spamm Shadow assault skill after 5-10 fail tries, it makes the game to crash and automatically close the game. Just as tip.

I am wondering what types of GPU people (both still crashing and not crashing) are using.

 

I'm using an Intel (:() graphics card and am still getting the crashes. However, it seems that the crashing has stopped for my friends who are using better video cards. This is leading me to speculate that it might be related to hardware. Though even with my poor excuse of a video card, I didn't start crashing til the Wednesday patch.

Butterfly wings: The cooldown is 10 mins, however, when you use it, it shows 8 mins. Thus, when the counter reaches 0, you still have to wait for 2 minutes (although it shows as if there were no cd)

AoE markers in raids and reduced frame rate (not solved, although indicated as "fixed" in the list) need to be prioritised please^^

Framerate was just fine before last patch and now it's choppy. Wasn't it supposed to be fixed?

Probably already reported, but just in case:

 

1. Character/Monster re-appearing

 

Whenever a player or monster needs to "re-appear" on your screen, they don't reload properly. You can't target them

 

Examples:

- In colo, when someone dies, and they respawn near you, you see their dead body shooting at you. You CANNOT shoot back or anything. There is a problem in reloading their character

- In raids, when someone gets res'd or spinels, you still see their dead body sometimes. Priests often can't target those "dead bodies" because they didn't reload correctly

 

2. Raid bosses "RED AoE indicator"

 

Before certain AOEs, bosses create a red mark on the floor, telling players where the AOE will come. The bug here is that regardless of where the red mark on the floor is, the boss will ALWAYS fire in the direction it is facing.

 

e.g.  <-------- X T   YYY

 

Red marker = <----

Boss = X, facing towards tank 'T', with party members YYY

 

Boss X will hit T & YYY because it is facing them, even though the floor is red behind the boss. The AoE should have hit the red floor instead.

 

Every single raid boss that uses a red mark on floor before an AOE behaves this way.

The Turn-To-Face-Enemy-Before-Attacking mechanic is really starting to get abused, lately, whether in duels, or in Colo.

Sorcerers can freeze you, and move behind you, and attack. You can't even turn around when frozen, which is technically how Freeze worked in RO1, but you can attack them if they're in front of you in RO2, so if the developers intend to halt movement until the effect wears off to make it like Freeze in RO1, then make the effect end the moment you're attacked, like in RO1. Otherwise, the Turn-To-Face-Enemy-Before-Attacking mechanic will get abused.

Assassins, with their fast movement speed in Shadow Form, can just dance around you and kill you before you can turn around in most cases, especially if two of them are attacking you at once. You shouldn't have to use your Guardian and a Wind Elixer every time you fight an Assassin.

Rangers can abuse it in the same way, since sometimes Ankle Snares bug in the same way, preventing you from turning around (tested it myself just now).

Not exactly sure if Freeze and Ankle Snare not allowing you to turn around are bugs, or fixes, but either way, I'm mentioning them. There have already been a few others on the forum that have mentioned them, as well.

Please find a way to fix the Turn-To-Face-Enemy-Before-Attacking mechanic.

Monsters can auto-face you even when trapped and attack you from a range even if they're not ranged, so why is it that players can't face their enemies when trapped/Frozen?

Assassins in Colo also seem to have recently become overpowered. I had one hit me for 9,500 (approximately, but I know it was more than my max HP, because I was at max HP and I died in literally one hit) once a few days ago right after Round 1 started. Never before, or since, has this happened.

I've also noticed that Assassins seem to glitch more than any other class, and are able to attack you from far away at times. It seems to actually happen more if they come out of hiding to hit you, then run away a bit (or if you run), and they'll just be "stuck" where they came out of hiding, hitting you from there. You can still hit them if you're still targeting them (as a Ranged class), but the visuals are rather messed up, so if you're a Melee class, you actually have to walk where their "stuck" body is, while they're actually behind your character hitting you.

Since the AOE problems on monsters, I've noticed a skill on players that hit more than one monster/character also seems to have been affected.

Heavy Tackle is meant to affect nearby enemies. Heavy Tackle used to be able to hit enemies from the side (not sure about rear, as I've never seen it hit from the rear), but now, even if they're in a 2m range, they are only hit if they're in front of you.  Could just be due to visual lag issues that have been going on, or the skill could actually be affected by a bug somehow.

Losing in a duel actually causes you to die, rather than keeping your HP at a minimum of 1 even if you're over-killed. Just tested it against a Beastmaster.

 

Still seeing people standing on their Pecos.

 

There seems to be a problem with text wrapping around. Sometimes in a single line (above your head, not in the chat box), there's a letter doubled-over. Example: You say, "I need someone for [insert dungeon name]. Last party slot. Anyone want to join?" The letter A in Anyone will get doubled over above your head. It'll look more like this:

"I need someone for [insert dungeon name]. Last party slot. A

Anyone want to join?"

 

Will add more as I find them.

 

 

Edit: There also seems to be MASSIVE graphical lag, especially when attacking monsters. It doesn't even have to be a lot of monsters, it can just be you versus one other monster. It usually happens more in dungeons, but it has happened on the field. I NEVER had graphical lag before the WoE Patch (and I have always ran with the maximum settings available for this game), and the FPS got worse up until the 7/18 Patch, and now, I'm just getting what seems more like graphical lag. There are skills and monsters that just seem to lag out of place, or delayed attack animations that occur even after the battle has ended.

 

The graphical lag was also pretty apparent last time I did Colo. I got in 3 minutes before Colo was going to end, and it took at least 3 minutes to load. When I got in, Colo had already started, I saw the numbers 1-5 cycle across my head, watched a bunch of skills spam on me, died, and ended up in 8th place upon re-spawn. My number slowly dropped to 25th place because I literally had to click to attack. None of my hotkeys were working. I tried spamming alt, tried changing my hotkeys to default, and nothing worked, so I tried just playing with my mouse, having no other choice (which was fine for that moment since I'm used to it from RO1). My hotkeys had worked before entering Colo, though, and after leaving it.

 

Names still seem to bounce, rather than stay stationary. It's more apparent when you view yourself from the side, though. It seems to have been reduced since the 7/18 Patch, but it's still there. It's also more apparent if you're talking to an NPC, especially Kafras. You can see your name bouncing behind their heads.

 

People seem to get stuck in combat, even when they're not in combat, even when no monsters are around, and they're unable to leave combat until relog. It isn't a visual glitch, because they cannot eat HP/SP foods and people can't enter the dungeon while someone in the party is stuck with this bug.

 

NPC Guard John in Maple Forest has a bug where his vocals change (not just what he says, but an entire change in voice actor) when he moves next to the tree. Not sure if this is a bug or not. The NPC icon also isn't displaying after he moves to the tree. It's blank when you click on him, but before he moved to the tree, it was showing.

Thanks for the updated list Zanbee.

 

Priorities not mentioned as WIP in your update but hugely impacting gameplay:  :p_swt:

* reduced frame rate is still there for a lot of people

* AoE markers are wrong (makes hard raiding almost impossible) - several people gave additional info in this thread, did you manage to give the devs that info?

* Are skills similar to shadow assault (ie battle leap) being fixed at the same time?

* Characters stopping and not doing anything for a couple seconds when using a pot/food while having a skill queued and running towards another player

Apparently, the NPCs that don't show up are invisible. It's not like they're not physically present; they're just invisible.

 

Had it happen with Guard John a few times in Maple Forest after his escort missions, but boredly just started clicking where he should be, and even though the chat bubble (which your cursor changes into when you want to talk with an NPC) didn't show up, sure enough, the dialogue window for the NPC still popped up.

 

So, they are actually there, meaning it's purely a visual error.

 

Don't exactly have screenshot proof, though, because someone else in the area talked to him and started his escort mission, causing him to appear. I'll try to get a screenshot with his next mission, if possible.

 

Edit: Actually, I managed to do it with Apostle of Justice Deuce after Apostle of Justice Randy's mission, because Apostle of Justice Deuce goes invisible.

Also realized that you can't tab-target NPCs anymore for some reason, even with Non-PT selected, though this could just be me...  :p_swt:

 

 

 

 

Edit #2: Upon actually seeing a hidden NPC (for a split second, and I can recreate it, but can't screenshot fast enough to catch him before he fades away) named Herbalist Plem next to Fallen Guard John after the Mandragora attack, I'm just going to assume that ALL NPCs that require an escort, or those that teleport/warp, already exist in the locations they're supposed to, and they simply go invisible in one spot, and become visible in another, but they're all already there. Knowing this, I'm wondering if perhaps this setup has something to do with the bugs that are going on with these NPCs lately...

Im not an assassin, but leaving aside all the glitches and bugs around, if one manages to kill you like that, thats pure player skills.

Im with you for the freeze status tho, it has a very short cooldown in most cases, having it break at first strike sounds fair. also it is quite annoying you can no longer turn around when in that status, wizzies not have it very easy to kill me with a simple frost nova...

As you can see, turtle corpses disappear when they die. This eliminates their chance of dropping a card when ratmaster dies - as you may or may not know, loot can only be picked up when the boss dies.

Perhaps this means the ones killed in this video dropped nothing to begin with, but then people could keep farming leo until his corpse stays before moving on. In any case, this does not happen with the culvert band or the einherjars in pve 7/7.

Trust me, it does not take skill to take advantage of a broken mechanic. I could do the same thing on an Assassin. The class alone has the foot-speed to get around you fast enough to keep hitting you in the back, watching the direction you're turning, and keep following you, hitting you in the back, until you die. I've learned to click-target them when they do it (faster than depending on tab-targeting to actually hit them in duels or Colo), but the first time it happened, I realized how easy it is for an Assassin to take advantage of the broken mechanic.

 

Not to mention they've semi-corrrected Melee classes to now focus on their target (as in you'll automatically follow that target no matter what, face that target no matter what), but it is buggy. The problem versus an Assassin comes more from Ranged Classes than Melee because of that. On my Monk, I don't have that problem with Assassins, even though they still try using the same tactic, because my Monk will auto-face them. Why couldn't they have tried fixing it for Ranged classes as well? I mean, it's still not completely fixed, but they seem to have tried, because it wasn't always like this for Melee classes.

 

Anyway, the point is, they just keep hitting you in the back because they can run around to your back before you can turn around because your character physically turns around at a set speed. Walking backwards works with some classes (because you can walk through them, then get behind them, which is similar to a tactic used in the Halo series), but again, it won't work with them, since there's the Melee "lock-on" thing that's been going on for the past 2-3 weeks now.

 

I know I'm not the only one that's noticed the change, because I've seen it mentioned elsewhere. It does affect Ranged classes, too, but it's not as effective in locking on as it is with the Melee (especially if your enemy is up-close).

 

 

 

Edit: Also, I'm guessing my assumption about ALL NPCs being invisible is true, and the system makes sense, but I wonder if it's that system that could be bugged, and thus causing the issues with NPCs currently?

 

Notice Dr. Jacob, and "herbalist Plem," which for some reason, the H isn't capitalized. Both of those NPCs are actually invisible (not there yet, not that they should be at the point I'm at in the game). The NPC is also named "Probation Herb Digger Plem," at least at the point in the game I'm at now... Circled my quests to emphasize that they shouldn't be there yet.

Here's my Colosseum crash at the 10AM PDT one today.

 

 

The crash occurred around 2:39 in the video with no known causes.

 

Only video recorder and RO2 was up with only using about 50% of CPU.

Disregard the "choppyness" of the video.. it was fairly smooth for me, but I've set the recorder to take the least amount of CPU as possible.

 

It really is frustrating for me...
