So. Let me get this straight. You think all gypsies sound like old ladies who smoke heavily or are just men dressed as beautiful ladies.

You probably already got hell for this comment. But I'll say it anyway,

That.

Is.

RACIEST!!!

Only a fool assumes things.

No one but you has got offended over my comment, at least not openly.

For the record, I was referring to how they're portrayed in movies and videogames; typically portrayed as an older woman. It's usually only in anime that you see them as young women, though, there are some exceptions in books and a few movies, but they're usually women like age 35 and up. They also are, in fact, usually smokers, which is why I found the comment about the voice sounding that way amusing. Then again, gypsies don't have commonplace in many popular movies of today, and smoking is also a habit that's faded from being in every single movie of the generation, so maybe modern movies won't portray them as a raspy-voiced old woman?

Oh, and for the record, it's not discriminatory in any way, when I'm just pointing out that it makes sense, because that's how it's been done in movies. It's not racist at all because Gypsies aren't a race.

Voice actors use a medium of sorts to base their works off of, and if all they have for English voice examples happens to be movies of old, raspy-voiced women, then that's probably what they're gonna use.

Also, I have no idea where the "men dressed as beautiful ladies," came from at all, unless you're referring to Munil?

Spoiler> Munil wasn't mentioned in this topic, I don't believe. Munil is a case of it's own. I say "It's," because the story itself is non-specified. At first, Munil is implied to be a cross-dresser, then a transexual (science has got that far in Ragnarok in 300 years, but they still haven't upgraded from Lever-Action Rifles? Seriously?), and finally, once you meet Munil's sister, the character (your character) says something along the lines of, "It seems his sister and himself are the same person." I'm still leaning toward Munil being a cross-dresser with a split personality, but like I said; the story never specifies it. I'm sure something along the line is a translation error, but it's pretty odd, really.

Spoiler> Anyway, onto your last bit about the Saintess; she's got evil sealed inside her. That doesn't make her evil. The story is a lot deeper than it appears on the surface, though.

The forums really need to add SPOILER tags. :p_swt:

Think one time I lazed about finishing the Payon quests and started Maple... when I bothered to finish Payon, I had to talk to Guard Lance, except by that time he's supposed to be dead already--

Yeah, that proves how long it's been since I've been here. Between absence, and how late it was last night, I forgot they existed on here. Hell, I've even used them before. :p_swt:  I had a derp moment.

Real life got in the way. I'll be back as soon as possible, I've just got a few things to get taken care of first. I explained the situation to Aesma already.
