I don't know what to do since we've been trying so hard to get our guild to level 6 and we made we made it to level 5 at 4.5 million exp before the patch knocked everyone offline.  We were only 6.5 million exp away from being able to fill the guild and get capes with our emblems on them. Now after the patch update we have just below 3 million exp towards level 6. First the last day of the double guild exp event was cut short (being removed the morning of the 17th instead of at night)  and now our guild's hard work has been removed?   We were in such high spirits and now it just feels like we're wasting our time, like no matter how close we get something's going to happen to stop us.  I'd like for someone to look into it and try to help fix things but if we submit a ticket, by the time it gets answered the 100 strong event will be over.  I really don't know what to do and hope one of the moderators or GM's will be able to help us.

We had an issue as well, but we didn't have any screenshots because we realized we were short later on.

Needless to say the lose of 1.5 million EXP is more then a little frustrating. Mixing that with the time constraints and I'd say I'm not very happy at all. It's a lot of hard work to get that kinda kill count in!

Yeah..not to mention trying to get exp with dungeons. That was terrible.

Hmm, i thought we're the only one they rollback...

 

we've lost 1m+ guild exp too and its not that easy to grind that kind of exp

i hope they give it back XD

I'm submitting a ticket now for what good it'll do, but this has taken the wind out of the guild.  The idea of having a custom cape with our own symbol was a very special item that we wanted to work towards, but with so many points just taken away in a flash... it's just really hard to describe the mixed bag of feelings I and others are going through. We wanted to just grind through the next couple days to 6 and then finish inviting the 100 people in and celebrate what seemed like an impossible feat for what started as a small group of casual players.

I'm sorry you're going through the same thing, hopefully the GM's or someone can help all these guilds out, it's going to be especially rough for the others that were so close too. 

 

I wouldn't be nearly so down if there was another way to get  perm guild cape like this, but after the 24th our chance will pass

If it's not just us there is a better chance they will refund our exp.... it's not a small amount afterall...

Well in our case we lost 400k after wed maint so it wasn't too much of a deal and only 300k this maint, but seeing how it's happened twice now and to other guilds as well it's pretty damn annoying seeing everyones effort go to waste.

It does really stink this happened so many of our guildies have been grinding as Kitty said so we can get to lvl 6 and be able to get awesome capes. I hope WP does something about this and I am not going to give up I am going to keep grinding and keep my hopes up!

Is it really not? Kind of defeats the purpose of displaying a cape for guild pride if it's not permanent. 

 

@ OP, if they don't refund the exp, I'll offer to stick my farming alt in there to help for a bit.

could anyone confirm what koobear said? Not that I don't believe it but I'd rather be 100% sure it's not permanent before giving up on this event :x

I'd also like confirmation on the guild capes being temporary.  If that's what everyone will be receiving it would make sense from a business perspective that the capes are sort of a teaser to people. Giving a temporary cape wouldn't make much sense unless there was a way for the guilds to spend money to obtain these capes in the future and if we can get capes after the 24th somehow that would be such a relief

Regarding the guild experience disappearing, can you PM me with the guild name, the last date you had checked that you had the guild experience, and then the date where you noticed it was missing?

 

I'll dive into our logs and see if we can determine a loss of guild experience, and see if we can fix that for you.

 

If this is occurring to more than one guild, that's definitely not good and we'll have to see if we can prioritize a fix.

Thanks.. I appreciate this, and i'm sure Kitty or someone will message you about it... but I know it was before maintenance we had over 4.5m exp and after maint were right at 2.9m exp or something similar..!! they know exactly..but that's the jist of it.

This happens before every maintenance, the guild exp is rollbacked to what it was 1-2 hours before maintenance starts.

 

We just got used to never farm guild exp at those times^^;
