The profile has a 'display name history' tool, but I don't see a place to change a display name. Last time I submitted a request on the ticketing system to change my forum display name they flat out denied me without explaining why. I've wanted to change my display name for a long time so I am wondering if there is a way with the new forum version?

I was told we have to send a PM to any CM asking for the change. I did that twice like one month ago and I still don't have an answer...

Well that's pretty lame.. Maybe they're no longer doing it all and have yet to update it during the last couple maintenance.

It's kind of a hassle because it's not just the forum name that has to be changed, the entire WarpPortal nickname has to be changed. Usually a name change is approved when you register through facebook and have a lot of numbers as your WP nickname, or if you accidentally used your game account name on both and were worried about your account security.

Well, thanks a lot. I thought the names displayed here weren't really linked to the account names (I use my email to log in, not my nick).

I see. Other forum software lets you have a separate display name and account name, with the display name being just an alias on top... so I am surprised there.

I'm having a problem with that too... As you can see, my name isn't quite what i would have chosen   I couldn't verify my account because i wasn't getting the e-mail, so i submitted a ticket and they just responded me saying they verified my account themselves so, yay, i can enter the forum! Thing is, i have this goddamn name and I don't know how to change it DDDD:
