Hi GMs, Bio4 Instance Rewards Suck Butts

So our group has been doing the bio4 instance since it came out in April and just today we FINALLY got the right MVPs to finish it. At this point we've been running the quest on 4 different parties, just to get that extra chance to get the last mvp we needed (Scholar).

 

Our rewards were as follows:

10 Blood Thirsts

20 Will of Warriors

20 Will of Warriors (again)

Bloody Cross

and some katar I forget.

 

It took us 4 straight months of logging in every 3 days to do this and getting crap like High Priest. Why GMs, why?

 

Actually upon reading some pservers guides, I feel like their rewards were higher - something like several hundred blood thirsts or something?

 

Anyway I wanted to ask -

Will the instance ever be changed to only summon an MVP the party leader doesn't have?

Will the cooldown be turned down at all? (I sure love playing this game every 3 days since it's the only high end instance to bother doing and ET sucks now.)

Can it be reset stone-able in the future?

 

Honestly I don't even -care- about the last two if the first one is done. The rewards are pure garbage for the effort of trying to get a 1/13 chance monster to spawn every 3 days.

 

Ultimately I would've liked to see the golden ornament hat (or at least gather enough materials to craft one), since its sprite is just a pink hat in Sakray lol.

I had prepared myself to get something terrible after hearing that the rewards were randomized, but 10 blood thirsts? Really? What is that, like 30 minutes of hunting in Bio4? Another viable option would be having a naturally spawning Bio4 MVP on the actual map instead of just the instance. Bio3 gets this, so why not Bio4?

Im trying to craft one, so far I have 400 will of warrior, 243 blood thirst and 11 ghost chills lol , I think the ghost chill drop rate in bio4 is wrong or something D:

It most likely is, I get like 1 ghost chill for every 30 blood.

OMG! It sucks.. Wasn't that katar, Guillotine Katar btw? *-*

MvP's spawn at bio4, or at least they should. About the first question, I really hope they change it. Cause I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be like that, at least on kRO.

 Its 300 WillofWarrior 300 blood and 400 chills /sob so yeah lol 389 to go xD

 

and yeah it is MVP reward from Egnigem Cenia, dunno about the mobs. I never obtained one while farming RTs there.

I think that's kind of awesome.

A super cute AND useful headgear that is extremely difficult to obtain and doesn't require gambling in the cash shop? +1 in my opinion, keep it that way!

thats real nice. once again the merchant and thief classes are completely left out of the game. i dunno wtf is going on over there in korea, but it feels like theyre trying to force everyone to just play priests, knights, wizards, or rangers now

i like how its made for 3rd classes and Kagerou/Oboro but has no added effects for Kagerou/Oboro...

K/O may get the same bonuses applied to thieves, similar to how the Medal of Honor (Thief) works with Ninjas. But I may be completely wrong! Need a GM's confirmation :heh:

That was my thought too. The matk% would be nice and all, but chances are a carded chibi pope would still beat it out, making the hat rather useless for priests. This would need some proper testing of course, but it's very likely cards would beat it.

 

I'm not surprised really, kRO just doesn't have much love for priests since pre-ren. :yawn:

 

 

Also tofu, 8% on swordy classes is HUGE. Do you realize how much atk some of them have? 8% is an insane boost.
