After maintenance today, the Emperium will be owned by a GM, so there will be no defender at the first WoE.

 

The first WoE will take place at 5pm PDT.

i was picking some grass today and when i was about to leave y the npc to talk to to exit the map was covered in barricade! i hit it and revealed myself from hide and died from 1 attack!

 

im not sure if barricades are player setup if not then they shouldnt be covering npcs!!!

No point in WoE when you got people spawn camping and making the 10 second invulnerability useless with barricades in the spawn area

 

 

And once you're in, it's over because you can't click the NPC being blocked by barricades

 

 

 

 

That big yellow target on the ground means "YOU'RE SCREWED" and there's nothing you can do about it but lose blood points, because once the spawn campers attack you and put you in battle, there's no bwing to save you. Except maybe for stealth classes.

i think we all know this WoE is a huge failure and the devs need to do some major tweaking to ensure there is absolute balance.

not really optimistic on the balance part though... the way the map is designed is one major issue. But then again, I rarely go there so I won't really know if major stuffs are being tweaked to sort things out.

 

anyways, was just checking WOE related stuffs here in forums since we officially banned ourselves from WOE map until a miracle happens.

Class changes and revamps need to be taken into account. Map needs to be redesigned and mechanics need to be reworked. I know one company that closed the game, worked on it for a year from the ground up, and will be having phase 4 soon. This was all due to the player base being unhappy with the product they are paying for. This game's excuse comes from it being a free-to-play style.

we are mistaken if you believe that 15/100 or 20/100 "people" can ACHIEVE make a "WoE" not know what they are talking about.
"They're not trying". That is the reality.

I've also seen guilds "Alliance" whose names "i do not tell", they did an excellent fight. And you know how many there were?. Less than 25 or 30 p.

May I ask what happens to WOE after this week? Does it mean that WOE testing season has finally come to an end and WOE will be removed completely after this week and relaunched at a later date taking into consideration of our survey feedback?

 

p/s: Odin world was a much happier place before WOE patch. Not only did WOE failed to meet the expectation of most players, but we had to endure horrid bugs surprisingly unrelating to WOE which came with the patch.

You guys have the same tools as we do, you have several opportunities to take the emp and you didn't even try

 

The first two woe was a nice battle, then no one shows up

 

even when the GMs take our cattle and no one to defend

I guess since RO2 is newer... some of the guilds and other players just doesn't have the same level of coordination like back in RO1... We just have to wait until other guilds catch up  ... But Aesir has a valid point, look at EG and how well they trashed everyone before Collision formed an alliance with IcE... Its all about numbers and coordination to be honest

It's funny how everyone and their sisters cat is hating on Collision instead of imbalanced WoE and low attendance. I'm pretty sure things will be the same even if Collision isn't the guild thats holding castle right now. Not a Collision fanboy just saying.

But really... It is the actions their members do OUTSIDE of WoE that most people hate. It is more of a political and ethical thing.
