Patch notes for 8/7

-These are subject to change. More will be updated towards the patch day.

 
 
 
A. Guild skills will be added (Only system will be added and not the book drops)
    i. Guild skill can be acquired with a "Guild Skill Book" and leveling up the skill can be done so through guild skill book level. 
       -To reach a high guild skill level, it has to be done step by step from the lowest level
    ii. 'Old Ancient Document' and 'Simple Repair tool' is needed to learn guild skill
       -'Old Ancient Document' can be acquired from Prontera Fortress' field monsters. (Will not drop until Official WoE is implemented). 
       -'Simple Repair Tool' is sold by Kafra service (Will not be available until Official WoE is implemented)
       -Guild skill book can be gained by using a 'Simple Repair Tool' on 'Old Ancient Document'.
   iii. Added guild skills can be checked from the guild information window. Please refer to below.
 

 
 
B. PVP Tier 2 Sales
    i. PvP Tier 2 accessories will be sold
    ii. Accessories can be traded with Victory medals and BP through the PvP event NPC in Prontera. 
        -Victory medals can be gained from the Victory Random box
       

 

C. Monster Collection
    i. Monster DNA (piece) will be dropping from monsters. 
    ii. If you acquired a DNA piece, right click it and it will give you 1 out of 4 types of DNA pieces for a monster (DNA fragments A, B, C, D). 
    iii. After collecting all 4 fragments of Monster DNA, use "[" button to open the 'Monster Summon Collection' window. 
    iv. Once you have the monster DNA, you can learn 'Monster Summon' skills. 
    v. If you keep combining DNA fragments, then the related monster's EXP increases. 
 
D. Kafra Shop Update
    i. New additions
       -Myunil's Costume Random Box
       -Myunil's Accessory Random Box
       -Premium Mount Box 14 days (Knight Petit)
       -Knight Petit Reins (30 days)
       -VIP Package Cow Ring
       -VIP Membership Cow Ring (1 day)
    ii. New items for the Phantom Pyramid
       -7F Forgotten Bag will be replaced with the Revenge of Hermina. 
       -Changing 6F with Wedding Costume Recruit box. 
    iii. Munil Trade Item Changes
       -Unable to trade maid hairband now. 
       -10 chance coupons can be traded for a butterfly mask.
    iv. Monthly Set Effects changes
       -Marine Casual set effect will be applied until Sep. 18, 2013. 
          =Marine Casual Costume + Marine Casual Hat = +5 STR, AGI, INT, WIS
       -Ocean Commander set effect will be applied until Sep. 18, 2013
          =Ocean Commander Costume + Ocean Commanger Hat = +10 STR, AGI, INT, WIS and 30% drop rate increase
       -Butterfly set effect will be applied until Sep. 18, 2013
          =Elegance Hermina's revenge + Butterfly Mask= +2 VIT, Critical Rate, Acceleration, and Accuracy

E. Skill Fixed

 - Shadow Assault should now teleport and damage appropriately.

 - Area of Damage from Boss Baphomet should show correctly now.

F. Bug Fixed Costumes

 - Lady Santa Costumes now has its little wings back

 - Santa Costume gets his bag back

 - Wonderland Costume will not spawn anymore from fusing of 2 accessories

G. Further stabilization of the client performance.

Re: T2 Colo accessories, is the price victory Medals plus BP? As in, 12 medals and 71k BP for the necklace?

It is a combination of the two. 

 

The patch notes are not yet finished. These are things that have been planned and scheduled far in advance, whereas bug fixing is done on the go. Hopefully they give us more for the patch notes in regards to bug fixing before tomorrow.

 

Also, there were concerns from people regarding pets in Colosseum. You will not be able to summon pets in Colosseum in this version.

Nice, the monster summon system changes the game dramatically (for the better IMO). Previously difficult boss encounters will be a joke, even RM Hard!

Thank you. And, although I got enough VM, I think I'm going to sympathize with the others that the VM cost is a little much. Maybe decrease it a little. Those are just accessories what more does the weapons and armors gonna cost?

Fix on target distance for melee classes? We get bugged and the game kept saying that target is too far away even though we are in front of the target.

EDIT: I agree with iyoter over the VM cost on the accessories only... You only need 39 VMs for the accessories O_o

You wanna kill the game zanbee?  Well congratulations!!! You just alienated 95% of the playerbase and encouraged mass cheating (that you guys do nothing and say nothing about) in the colosseum!  

 

I know you guys don't play the colosseum, or much of the game, so you don't care.  Just letting you guys know that this was one of the dumbest moves I ever saw unless those acessories are +99 to all stats.

 

- My wiz has 78 victory medals, and even I'm disappointed by this terrible decision.   Whoever came up with those VM numbers should be drug tested

The BP to medal ratio seems a bit off. Maybe lower the #medal count required for these?

 

60k BP = 1 medal's worth of effort.

 

 

Can you confirm: will T2 ARMORS also require medals (at similar ratios?). This way, we can know whether to save up our medals for the weapons & armors instead.

how fast exactly? lets say if you have 1% of getting the medal form random box. you will put 2% and call that fast?

 

fast would suggest that the vm have a 15%, that would be fast...and not too much

Awesome if thats the case then maybe this new patch won't be so bad but there's this bug with some sorcerers when using lightling bolt.....sometimes it doesn't hit the target at all for some reason so hoping that you'll fix that too

only able to get 2 VM for my lvl 50 warrior... long way there unless the Box chance drop Victory Medal as high as Pandora box xD
