I am a newb, and as such, didn't know the following:

 

1) When I use an elemental converter, why doesn't it show up as a "buff" icon on the right side? (ie, how do I know that it's currently on?)

2) How long do they last?

3) If I have an elemental weapon like a Hellfire, and I use a wind converter, what happens? (does it change from fire to wind? stay as fire? both fire and wind?)

1. No buff icon, good way to know your convertor ended is when your damage drops all of a sudden.
2. About 3 minutes
3. It will be wind element for as long as convertor is active, then go back to being fire after.

Does your char have any buffs that last for about 3 mins?  You can use that as a timer for EleCons.  On my RG, I usually use Spear Quicken 7, Guarana Candy (IncAgi 5) and EleCon together as they all last right around 3 mins. :]

 

RCX's buff-timers (one of the only features that still work...) also show EleCons, Ele-proof Potions, +HIT/+FLEE/etc food and other stuff... I'd really just like a right-side timer, though. :v
