"Error: No clientinfo file" Is what keeps appearing in a little box when i try to play and this:

http://prntscr.com/1jtkaw

Keeps getting spammed and i can't close the windows until i restart my laptop, What do i do? I WANT TO PLAY!

I already tried reinstalling the file i downloaded, if i'm told to redownload the whole thing again i'm gonna stop trying and GTFO this game.

Also what's up with all the versions called ClassicRO, Ragnarok and Sakray? What do i play? In the game directory, oh all of them do the same as ^^

I'm willing to cooperate and do whatever except redownloading this.

You play ragnarok for renewal server, classicRO for classic server. Sakray is a test server, periodically opened for testing new content.

The no clientinfo file error happens on fast, particularly when RO has already been run since last reboot (windows 7 and later is better that earlier versions at caching applications so they load faster - unfortunately, that causes problems here) - the client starts so fast that the patcher hasn't released it's lock on the data files, and as a result the client can't read the data.

The workaround is straightforward - Open the RO folder, rightclick ragexe (or cragexe for classic), and choose create shortcut. Rename it something like "RO - bypass patcher". Rightclick it, choose properties, shortcut tab, "target" will be something like

"C:\Program Files\Ragnarok Online Renewal\Ragexe.exe"

Add -1rag1 to the end (with a space before it), for example, if target was originally what we had above, change it to:

"C:\Program Files\Ragnarok Online Renewal\Ragexe.exe" -1rag1

Click OK.

Now, to play the game, run that. To patch the game, run the normal shortcut - but click exit instead of start.
