I'm fairly new to the game; got to level 25 and was able to change my job

from Archer to Beastmaster or Ranger...

 

I chose Beastmaster without looking into it very much; comparing the two,

etc... and I think I made the wrong choice!

 

Is there any way I'm able to revert back and select Ranger instead???

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to do that. You would have to make another archer to level and job change to Ranger if you wanted Ranger instead since you already chose and completed the job change quest for Beastmaster on your current archer.

In the future, do look into the difference between the two class advancements. Even if they have similar names, they may have a completely different role later on (for example, Wizard vs. Sorcerer or Warrior vs. Knight).
