Okay, I am kinda knew to the pali class. I started one in IAH during the break and I am working on one here now (and was before the break). Normally I use a Ninja...Infiltrator...whatever.
I have a few questions about the pali skills

1) Revenge, why does no one use it? It seems to me that it would destroy everything from mobs to bosses to people in pvp, but it is always left out of skill builds. Is this because it is a cheep/unfair way to win, or is there something more?

2) Impervious, it looks to me that this skill at even lvl 1 can stop your opponent from getting a deadly lock on you. Again...is there something I am not seeing?

3) -_-roach Life, It seems really good at lvl 5. Instantly gaining back half health when you're nearly dead and then getting a massing def mdef boost looks really good on paper, but why is it not implemented?

Anyway I would like to thank any and all of you for whatever incite you can give me. Like I said before I am fairly new to this class, having only started one a few weeks prior to the server shutdown and playing a little in the intermittent time between server switches.

1: Revenge is cheap in PVP. Paladin's already have the highest HP so there's a lot of classes that cant take the reflect damage alone. Let alone the damage from skills. In PVE it doesn't help at all. So boss hits you for 2000, you reflect what 1000-something? That's like one x attack. With a 12mp/sec drain it's just wasteful. Most Paladin's know that nobody will PVP them while there under revenge. As a result there's those who don't use it. I personally don't, its skill-less and cheap. There is a nerf coming i believe.

2: Impervious is spammed in PVP. Those seconds of unflinching and un-knock/launchable-ness make the game for most Paladin's. I believe a nerf is coming for this skill too. I personally don't use it in PVP, but you probably won't find another who doesn't.

3: Roach Life is amazing. I love and use it frequently. Sometimes it's left out of the build because Paladin's go for the less important skills (IMO) like Revenge/Sword Dance/Body Activation/Pressure/Armor Break.

Here's my PVP build if you want to have a looksee. http://image-storage...001500000000000
The extra points are being saved for Lv10 Shield Mastery and the Dragoon skills because i want all of them.

These are my keys. I'm only lv60 but W,E,D are were i anticipate i will put the Dragoon skills.

1. Revenge is a waste of MP if the opponent knows what they're doing. Not to mention, you'll just end up getting made fun of for wasting SP and MP on revenge. TR is a much better investment of your MP while in PvP, and you can't really afford to have both of them active.

2. Impervious is usually left at level 1. If, however, we get the nerf for this skill, it should be maxed.

3. I haven't really tried skilling a paladin, but I'm pretty sure people do get this. You may need to stop looking at all these garbage joke of a PvE build stuff.

1)revenge is looked down upon in 1v1 pvp as it can be used as an autowin with 0 effort, as for team pvp the damage reflect is easily out-healed so its wasted mp. u wouldnt bother using it for pve since mobs do hardly any damage, especially when considering thats its limited to melee type attacks and all melee type attacks are ATK based and the knight/paladin class has the highest DEF values, rather counter-intuitive for pve.

2)impervious is either level 1 or 5, level 1 for shorter duration and cooldown allowing for faster recasts with time reverse, level 5 for longer duration but comes with significant cooldown time.

3)the updated version of roach life now has a larger cast window at < 25% max hp, however the mdef/def boost is still bugged, it comes down to skill point availability of whether u get this skill or not, it becomes very useful late-game when the character HP thresholds are higher, hence u heal alot more. however, with the new boost to barricade, u could pretty much leave out roach life for that.
