My friend and I don't have as much time to play as we used to so when we do its usually spent within the TI map completing the TI and maybe some extra time spent leveling there.  However my question is this, why are people in big parties such inconsiderate, impolite, pieces of human waste?  I understand there is a hate for a two man crew, especially if its a AB and a Ranger (me and my friend) but why?  We don't woe, we don't pvp, all we do is veg out killing monsters after work for awhile.  Worst is, when we try to talk to them all we get is a cold shoulder and no response.  If we do get a response its usually in the form of more Killstealing and being mob trained by their Sura.  I have submitted screenshots to the GMs but I doubt anything will happen.  All I want to know is why the hell people just turn into friends in the TI?

Mob trained by the sura? Also most of the people who do TI's are very friendly and polite people, the reason you do not get a response is due to the fact, when doing a TI people roam in parties and to communicate with each party member the easiest conveyance is through party chat. This function disables non party members to read or see what they type.

 

Most of the time they are replying to you and forget they are in party chat.

IMO, TI has no rules, except for deliberate and continuous harassment over a person or group of persons.

Yes mob trained by sura using snap.  As I doubt its a simple matter of forgetting about party chat.  Especially when it is clearly deliberate Kill Stealing and Mob Training.  Their AB even pneumas our mobs from time to time.  It is straight up harrassment and it gets annoying.  All I am asking is why did everyone turn into such friends in a game that used to be pretty damn fun.

Ya I have been going on my ranger and a sura keep getting our mobs ksed so when I see big party's I ks there ass as retaliation and ya they don't care at all

Get your ab to sw and then they can't pneuma you. And some people think of people soloing or 2 men parties as being selfish and not helping them lol

small parties always get trumped on by big parties in TI. its mob mentallity and self entitlement. people think theyre untouchable when theyre in a large group, so they just do whatever they want and dont give a crap. anytime i run ti solo or with small group of friends this happens. they intentionally come over and wipe out your mobs just to be dicks because they feel self entitled. TI is a free for all playground. if you go to actual leveling maps though its not bad because theres so very few people out in the real maps and when there are, theyre usually more polite. then again there really arnt many good places to go out in real game that you can have continual mobs like with TI, so it kinda sucks that everyone is forced in there to level.

 

all you can do is put up with it, or scope out some leveling zones for private leveling

Soloing or partying in small groups is better anyway. It's more fun, better EXP and more challenging. Big parties are usually players doing mindless things.

hmm, sometimes when im playing with my ranger in TI i do KS , but dont intentional, and when ppl say pls dont do it i try to apologise but theres moments when you are the only killer and if you stop using AS all will die, and theres some moments when people are just as..oles when you accidentaly KS one single mob and i simply ignore them.
About the big parties, yeah i know that a small party its better in a lot of ways, but theres moments when you see some classes that are not demanded in TIs and i like to include them, and if theres 5 rangers/AB/RKs/suras etc. And you only need 2 i prefer to include them, a lot of ppl playing together its the idea of an mmo, if i want to get in a challenge party i dont go toT

Arch Bishop and Ranger is actually a pretty decent team-up...

 

I'm sure there are much more annoying classes to level. And they often dont have ranged attacks either, so they're subject to the

 

full penalty of the Gramps-Turn-In Law (KSed at every turn, hard to find large parties and so on).

 

However, this can be taken as an extra challenge in the game. Rarely in Ragnarok have I not found a way to circumvent all manners of problems or issues and I'm not the brightest apple in the tree...

 

Additionally, from my experience, if you struggle with any facet of the game, it generally means you're doing something wrong (there's always one more thing you can do).

you have to remember for most people turn ins are all about efficiency.  taking time to respond in chat to KS accusations whether true or not is a complete waste of time.  time = kills

Most professionals have schedules and gaming is no different.
