First off, if you'r a CM, continue reading, I do have questions at the end.

Of the 4 events, there will be 400 winners if I understand correctly.  I believe if I heard right there were something like 2000 people who play nowadays.  That would mean that 20% of the server will get capes, and that's a decent chance if you count out the people that aren't going for it... unless...

Is it possible to win more than 1 of these events?  Because if that's the case, then there are essentially only 100 winners since getting lvl 3 of a pet is much easier than getting 60% of all pets.  I'm just wondering if I even have a chance, as a monk grinding goes a lot more slowly.

As of now, you can win more than 1 event. Perhaps for future events, we will limit it to one per account.

Are there any differences between the capes then? Does winning the poring one grant a cape with a poring on, does the rackuf one give a rackuf design, etc? Or are they all the same?

We don't have a confirmation yet, but the capes sound be of different designs.

I believe if I heard right there were something like 2000 people who play nowadays.

In order for that to be true, almost the entire server would have to have left in the last month or so. Before the patch that got rid of the message showing what # colosseum someone had won, the # peaked at about 4500. 4500 colos x 30 people per colo = 135,000 players, and that was only the people online for colo at the time, and a lot of people don't even do colo. It's hard to believe that so many people left in just a short amount of time...

My bad, I believe I'd seen some graph posted somewhere on the forums.  Probably shouldn't have made that my base of reasoning, there are too many radical people trying to take this game down like immature children getting rid of something they don't like.  Granted, I'm sure some of those numbers are off because some people do multiple chars in colo, but still that doesn't change it all that much.

100 people out of 135,000 or so will win though... bah, as a monk I think I'll either have to get rich quickly or give up, there's just no way I'm doing it, I've been working my way up to 21%, and the mobs only get grindier and grindier to kill as I move through zones.

Colo is very hard for any tank classes tbh. If you're not lvl 50, it's just that much harder. Just keep at it though, you'll champ more than you think. I'm a full tank knight and even I champed about 15 times. That's not much for a good pvp class like ranger or sorc, but it's good for what we're built for. If you don't have any colo gear yet, I'd advise getting your weapon first. Then probably armor since you're a monk. Accessories aren't as important for monk since you use both STR and INT.

Can we get an update on the number of people who claimed each cape? That way people can stop grinding DNA if they know they don't have a chance.

Er, when I said 100 out of 135,000 I was referring to the poring/wildrose/etc pet events, but sure, thanks for the advice. :)
