I spent the past few days matching up other rpg's music (mainly chrono trigger, xenogears, various final fantasy and earthbound remixs) that give a good feel to the maps and such in this game.  Just wondering if people had any good suggestions or songs the picked for this game.

The Mana series has a decent soundtrack to it.

The Final Fantasy series has an amazing soundtrack to it.

The Chrono series (even the unreleased Resurrection has an available soundtrack that you should check out: http://www.youtube.c...48FE82F5916AAE4 ) has a soundtrack that just brings the games to life.
The Kingdom Hearts series has a good soundtrack as well.

RO1 has an amazing soundtrack, as did GOTW. Some people use them as alternatives, as well.

yeah i used a ro1/gotw replacement pack, but decided to go with stuff I grew up with, ty for your input

but other times, I just open up my windows media player and play whatever I have on my playlist (currently have a mix of RWBY, Pacific Rim, Vocaloid, and Attack On Titan songs playing)

I love the original intro theme but after 3 months it was kinda driving me gaga.

For some reason, and call me crazy if you wish, RO2's login screen theme keeps reminding me of "Bratja". Not that I mind it, because I love that song.

 

I agree on that RO1 has, and still is for me, one of the best game BGM's I've heard so far, along with Final Fantasy, KH, and few others I've played and probably missed now. Something about epic battle themes for epic boss fights that makes you.. y'know, feel like you're truly in there

@inuko, I actually haven't watched or anything about Shingeki no Kyojin yet, tbh. For some reason it didn't appeal as interesting to me, but who knows, I might give it a try later on. But that song fits what I meant, yeah

Just recently replaced all the main bosses fight music with the final fantasy 7 fight music.  Has added a il nostalgia for em otthe game, plus it gets me pumped a ta bah and other raid bosses.
