Just kidding!...

This is just an example of how you can troll in a positive fashion.

Often we associate trolling (http://en.wikipedia....roll_(Internet)) as such.

There is a lot of negativity going around which I find counter productive... and this is on the entire World Wide Web.

I would however - like to take the time to thank a few of the players who have personally made my experience a better one...

This list is quite long, so I will spare you, but it includes Veterans and Newbies of the game, Game Masters, Developers and more.

We receive a great deal of content add-ons every week, and Devellopers listen to their players.

Just remember one thinig, this game is free to play and we're all allowed to play. Forever. As long as we respect the rules.

Think about that and grow :)

nice troll, but maybe you should have written something longer to keep the trolling rolling. just sayin  :no1:

one thing I might argue about is that although there are improvements to the game every week, it seems that it takes forever for the developers to give the players what they've been asking for again and again. Again, just sayin  :no1:

I'm not sure what people is complaining about. RO's support is much better than most real life organisation, I'm just saying. :heh:

this was a dead giveaway that it was a troll:

I think there is a generational gap here...

After writing this, two other forum users support your use of a drug reference. I know it's hard, but try to keep it clean for younger audiences folks.

Since there seems to be some confusion (for reasons out of your control) I'd like to mention, simply, that this thread is about is

"reverse psychology" where I name the thread a complaint, but compliment aspects of the game instead lol.

Seems I struck a chord with the whinier side of the Force. I was merely trying to counter the negativity in a lot of other threads with a bit

of sunshine. Seems like something I won't be repeating anytime soon. :)

Read that. ^

A lot of it comes down to internet anonymity and the lack of a really harsh punishment system. Generation gap might be a good way to put it.

Countering forum negativity is one thing, but that doesn't resolve the problems in-game between players. Reverse psychology generally doesn't work on persistent problem trolls either.

Generation Gap is definately at work on the internet ;)

Back on topic however - I just really like the game after all this many years.

It's enjoyable to see that the game is still being worked on and enjoys various content updates (new episodes and such).

I was not around when the servers merged (was taking an extended break from gaming), but I noticed a cultural "clash" (for a lack of a better word perhaps) since my return some months ago.

It's also interesting to see how those same people are (over time) merging here and there forming new social pockets!

Heck... we even have newbies joining the game for the first time after years of the game being launched - adding into the cultural mixture.

They're going to add a new GPS system soon, they fight bots actively, they stream more, are more present in the game - which I find really cool, and who knows what else they're thinking about!... Content Updates!!

That's what I wanted to talk about - That was what this thread was about - That's what I am thankful for!

Keep up the good works :no1:
