Hi guys... currently there's been some stuff about certain low level players trying to entice players to vote on their fansub site for freebies or zenny related goods. I knew that there was  an incident where there was another player that has fell victim to the scam and they stolen their account information somehow and seized all of their ingame items. I wanted to know if anybody else fell into this incident or nearly fell for this trick. I know that its noted on the patch before you start the client but. I was wondering if we would be able to enforce a way trace the sites to dig up information on them so we may shut them down. Any input would be of great help!!

Hello there.

A Novice named "QuanChungPungz" contacted me this morning and asked to vote for her fansclub for freebies.

I politely replied that i wasn't interested. (But i already knew this is a method to infect your pc with a keylogger probably and steal your account related infos.)

well the GM team already put the warning on the client about this...

The name does ring a bell so its possible that we can make a blacklist of the names. Please save any chats involved and screens if any. The minute I asked for the site to login to he/she immediately logged the char

As mentioned.. there was another char that I tagged along also that did take her items I think I have the chat of when that char last logged. I will post that when I have the chance as well. Its time that at least some of the community knows as well.

that same person asked exact same thing to me. I just said not interested after the 100m offer. and she moved on. its quite apparent that it was scam so i had no second thought at all.

There's a warning on the patch client about this too. 

 

If you do the voting, you'll get hacked.

It seems that this person is trying to target the higher tier players so I probably wanna do this as a warning or an update to any/all players about current scammers trying to target anybody ingame. I understand that the thing in the patch client is placed as a warning to those who receive this message but I'll try to keep things updated to counter this activity. There's probably been more than one time that there has been a time where another player would try to compromise my account. I hate to say being a vigilante isn't the greatest thing but to reserve the right of others and the preservation of their characters from being a victim of malware abuse would be put to an end.

can just report that guy since someone have caught them in action. i didn't bothered to take screenshot because scam was too apparent to me.
