The battle cleric is making a huge comeback after this update. But do you mean battle cleric (0ffensive builds and a true fighter) or a war cleric (support in CD and wars and still able to fight some or high def)? There is a big difference between the two.

Those clerics are battle types. I confirmed it myself.
