My Bourg is mainly used for farming but i found this build was still pretty enjoyable enough to pvp with using self buffs, (however the Ap & Mspd buffs only last 15sec and you can only choose one or the other I chose AP for 1vs1).

 

For Farming I drag my F/S Cleric along to beef me up some.

 

Edit- I took dex due to having a Dodge buff it seemed fitting however Sen gives more Ap and Charm will increase your buffs and debuffs so guess that bit needs a little more tweeking

Also please not stats are while only holding my cannon AND before skills were chosen (Ie no ap passives ect)

 

Once the update went live I made a couple changes to the skill build which was taking the archer in the crafting tab this isn't needed but can be taken quite early on and is a great help when lvling below 100 after hiting 100 and becoming a bourg the mayor in junon will offer you a free reskill & Restat (After Lvl50 I belive) So its upto you if you choose to keep it or ditch it once getting the more power full attack skills in the bourg tree

at this stage no but as stated in my edit it could be worth taking instead of dex due to the debuff properties

 

Im Honestly a little undecided on the dex atm and still playing around with it but i think its more a personal choice and wether or not ur pvp, pvm or little of both like me

I think they are at lower lvls but I found once you get the bourg atk skills ur dmg has a good increase I think for the 5pts they are handy especially for solo farming but if pvp is your choice then you wouldn't really need them at higher lvls.

Even with let's say 200 dex and dodge buff, you can't dodge anything, so dex is useless for me, even PvPing.

 

Regarding the summons, since now they are buffed while in group, the hunters are not so bad.

I'm trying different combinations of stat settings before this new update expires, but it takes so much time. I now have: STR - 315, DEX - 15, INT - 15, CON - 440, CHA - 71, SEN - 160. Is this build satisfactory?

In my opinion, as a cannon bourg you may want to focus more on your critical hit rating and get some more on that SEN. Perhaps lowering a bit of your STR, since it is only really needed for holding your weapon, and does not give that much of a ap/hp/def boost to matter.

But your stat build isn't bad, so if that works for you you can leave it as it is.

Really, Strength is only for holding my weapon? Well, is the minimal 157 STR for Rift Boomer sufficient enough? Because I will invest remaining SP in other stats.

Strength is needed to hold your weapon and also adds a tad bit of attack power, but not as much as con does, so I don't think it's worth investing too much into it. 150-200 is what I consider to be best to work with.

As a cannon bourg, boasting increased critical damage, putting those points in sense would be for the best.
