I'm using 2x blue twin edge (water type)

 

If I use fire converter, are my attacks now fire type?

If I use fire converter, are my attacks weaker?

If I use water converter, are my attacks stronger?

Do both edges change element?

Using a a convertor will overwrite whatever element you weapon is. So yes if you use a fire converter on a water weapon your weapon is now fire property.

Your attacks will only be weaker if the monsters element resists fire. (Use iROwiki DB if you want to find out a monsters element)

Using a water converter on a water weapon will do nothing. All weapon properties and converters give level 1 of that elemental property. .
