There is a guy who traded a ton of classic zenys for renewal zenys (in the past days) and actually he offered (iRO chaos) 30b for a meg and 95b for a tao + kiel

1.- abuse the bug on classic on alt acc/ip
2.-trade the classic zeny for derpnewal zeny
3.- trade back the zeny to classic to the main acc
4.- $$$

GMs cant regulate the zeny trades and everyone who did this got away with huge ammounts of cash and godlikes from renewal

The only thing to solve is either rollback /delete the server or just leave it as it is. It's already rip to begin with anyway lol

in the end the only accts that will be banned are those which were used to abuse. there must be a reason why they showed char names on the vid -to get em banned on purpose i bet theyll get away with their mains

yes but if he really abused and he doesnt get banned then his zeny would just be sitting there until someone decides to sell him a tao/meg/kiel.

I'm starting to believe so too, after all they seem to have a hard time tracking a few items under a hacking case... Wish GM tested stuff THROUGHLY before implementing stuff, specially NPC with such features.

So I sent an email in about the mail system still being able to be used on usrc to cheat. Providing a link from character to character in hopes they could find a solution in tracking non-usrc tagged items. Aka Pots, blues, EDP etc.

 

They  banned me.

Impossible, for items that skills need such as potions (for throwing), the iron, or other items that are consumed by skill use we cannot make the skill see the new item as valid. Currently Oda is tracking down all the zeny transactions. As for items... we have interesting ideas for those and will make any character with these items unplayable...

Unfortunately we did not have the free hardware to do so.

I honestly have a good chunk of faith in these guys. Classic is Oda/Camp's babeh, they will take care of it. I can't speak as someone that has visited Classic for more than an hour or so, but I did play through the classic era of Ragnarok in Iris of 06-08 (part of that time, Kafra Shop didn't exist yet!), when Lighthalzen was new. I've seen quite a lot in my time on iRO...

 

I've also seen supposedly greater MMOs from multi-million game companies shuttering servers in a year or two. The two (three? We have a Sakray still? lul) iRO servers are here to stay for quite a while. Oda/Camp and the team obviously can't reveal every single point laid out in a Flash presentation on what they plan to do to each person that abused this. Give them some time, guys. :]

 

Oh... and maybe we could see a temporary return of the ol' Banhammer List? You know, in the spirit of Classic and all? <3

It's sad because the idea of the usrc arena was great. It would suck if we can't have a USRC on classic next year just because some cheaters abused the arena...
