I have read that there are several case of "vote for my fan club". Just wish to point out on this particular IGN and to clarify on this.

 

Was on my Mastersmith in eden when he PMed.

Most likely that is a scam.. Beware specially if it involves using your username and pass on suspicious sites...

There is a warning on the patcher about the fan club scam. 

 

The problem is that after the GMs ban them, the scammers just make a new account, and start trying to scam people again. They're presumably located abroad, and they're probably the same people as the zeny sellers.

You can put anything there that you will get a vote. So program a macro to put random user/pass and you could get infinite votes w/o asking for someone else

 

SO ITS FAKE...

1st: You can see by the source code that is a normal and stupid form sheet
2nd: Dont put your user/pass in a program/homepage, that is not advetising on official page(even that I dont put)

You should really edit your screen shot op. You're driving traffic onto his website of people who could not know of what's happening.

Its a pretty noob scam, and i'm sorry to hear ppl have been taken in by this.

I have personally been approached by this scam, and i know of at least 3 other guildies who have been approach by this scam. Fortunately no one fell for it. Now i advertise in the guild message not to fall for fanclub scams, so newer players in the guild dont get scammed.

I actually tried to see if they would offer more for "voting". Turns out, the person offered me another 4k KP on top of heir initial offer. Mind you, when I said I voted, he ran away scared since I called his bluff. Love messing with idiots like that.

Yeah its so annoying lol, whenever they try to speak to scam me which is like 5+ times now I just tell them their location and they scurry xD

i got my account info back by using the "forgot password" function, all my stuff is gone now

 

 

Edit: and some of those things i've been robbed of is now vended by a person which likly is the one that stole them. Great. Where are the GMs when you need them...
