Hello everyone,

Good day to u all m in bit hurry and very frustated also.

 

Problem :- My screen FREEZES when i try to open >1 client of try to duel login

Before 4 sep :- i was able to open 7-8 clients without any problem at a time and handle them also.

Afterf 4 sep :- only 1 client opens if try to open 2nd 1st one freezes.

 

My system - i5 2nd generation - 4 gb ram - nvidia graphics card 525M - windows 7.

 

things i tried but all FAILED :-

 

1 - change ro client, setup resolution same as to my sytem resolution.

2 - patch both classic , renewal chaos client

3 - played with compatability issues now all have same setting " windows xP serivce pack 3" settings

4 - Run all 4 as adminstrator and have same setting on all 4 - classic renewal .exe client n their setup files

5 - ro folder - properties - security - user permissions - set to all

6 - updated "dbghelp.dll" file to uptodate

7 - directx updated to version 11

8 - VGA drivers working perfectly

9 - deactiuvated firewall and antivirus

10 - disk cleanup

11 -  power sttings set to balanced and HDD never turn off

 

all FAILED now what to do any suggestions pls m HELPLESS n tired n dead

 

only thing works is

1 - i open 2 clients and press their start button in quick time like only 2 sec gap in between that way only 2 clients opens up 3rd client is just impossible to open up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hm, I can dual client without issue. 

 

Does it work if you kick off the second clients manually, bypassing the patcher?

I can't dual client anymore either.  It is only allowing me to open one client.  Yesterday I couldn't even open one client, RO would get an error and auto shut down.  It patches but once I click to log into the server it would get an error with missing files .act and .spr then windows closes RO.  I am also still getting a homu error whenever I change maps with my homu, but RO would still work it's just an annoying error window keeps popping up every time I change maps.

2 - now i am not able to bypass the patcher despite using this command

 

[ start button > run >

C:\Program Files (x86)\Gravity\Ragnarok Online\Ragnarok.exe "-1rag1" ] it not bypassing the patcher now

 

 

What to do now ??

I'm actually having the same problem. Back in the past I never had any problems opening 2+ clients and now when I came back to RO I can't do it anymore. Any updated news on how to fix this?

I have nothing to report regarding a graceful or universal fix for this issue, nor about what the underlying cause is.

What to do now ??

Use the right command to bypass patcher - you've got the quotes in the wrong spot. 

 

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Gravity\Ragnarok Online\Ragnarok.exe" -1rag1
