I have a lot of them, and it says they are worth a lot of lant, yet I can't sell them, or auction  them off. Is there a way I can get rid of them? (Preferably making money.) If so, how?

infinite items are "bound on acquire" so in order to be able to trade them, first you need to buy a "bound on acquire" item from the item mall.

click on the person you want to trade it to, click on the "!" symbol next to their name and select "trade bind on acquire item" or whatever its called,

now you need the drag the item you want to trade + the "bound on acquire" item from item mall there - et voila.

if they are from the prodigal gift box thingo, i dont think you can sell those even with an unbind item as they are special.

otherwise if a regular npc merchant wont buy them you can only destroy them.

As Leash said, you may trade by buying from Item Mall the Bind on aquire trade xeon, but not sure it will worth if you have to buy the Malls with Lant, IM are expensive now and I'm not sure you will make more money than you will loose buying the Xeons.
Maybe if the weapons are reinforced you get a chance.
