Yesterday I came across an interesting GX, an auto-cast type (pretty much a high asped, melee SD SinX or an auto-cast Sorc). His auto-cast damage is quite high IMO, only a little less than my battle AB. Unfortunately he immediately teleported away without giving me any chance to ask. So here I am, thinking of making one:

 

Stats:

- Str: ?

- Agi: 100-120 (193 aspd is a must)

- Vit: ?

- Int: 90 base

- Dex: ?

- Luk: 90 (he crit a lot)

 

Gear:

Headgear:

- Flapping AW (he did wear one)

- CD (mandatory)

- Open slot for ideas

Armour: No idea

Wep: Probably a katar, possibly a KVM

Garment: a +9 HBP is nice but is there an alternatives, it's still out of reach for me

Shoes: Odium Thanatos carded BLB?

Acc: No idea, a ROFL may present

 

The idea for this concept is rather simple: flood mobs one by one with streams of high damage atk from EDP and auto-cast bolts. EDP also compliment this build nicely since it increase w-atk and e-atk instead of final damage like before. 

 

Any advice or idea is greatly appreciated

This build sounds pretty interesting to me as well. I have been working on an ASPD-Crit build my self, and have quite an affection for caster chars.

 

I'd think if you used a Small Poring Band (+10-12 preferred), BDM or Peg Wings, and a double ASPD enchanted weapon you could cut back some on the AGI stat in order to increase your STR and VIT. I'm clueless on how DEX could effect this build though.

Thanks for your idea, I'm also clueless how much DEX is needed. A pure crit is kind of hard to build but the lack of DEX is troublesome

Update:

Lv 128 GX:

Str: 5x

Agi: 105 (+5)

Vit: 3x (could not remember why I only put 3x vit, really squishy)

Int: 90

Dex: 67 + 3

Luk: 50

 

Gear:

RWH (i'm thiking of carding it with Isilla)

Cd in mouth

Dragon vest + Alicel

Dragon Manteau + Whisper

Immune Nyd Garb

Bradium Brooch x2

 

With this setup, I have over 450 flee, 186 aspd (no buff yet). Even though Str is quite low, it is unnoticeable in both normal attacks and EDP compliment nicely. The only downside is lack of crit rate, I had a hard time against the Angra Mantis (first time I met him), I missed a lot

You can drop a few points of Agi but not less than 90 (for the HBP bonus) and use Berserk Potion Pitcher to add more aspd, it'll save you more stat points for other stats

Too bad, since I do not possess a HBP, I'm even thinking of pushing Agi to 120 in order to use 2 Bradium Brooch. More crit = better

Well with the new Gary's Groove Pack out (only 150 KP with HBP inside), I think the prices will be dropping some what soon. I'd start saving for a +0 and upgrade it your self. HBP stat bonuses are a God send for my little ASPD-critter. XD

 

Perhaps you could reduce INT some, since from what I can tell with my SC (shadow spell build), the CD doesn't seem to require too much INT. Now if you get a ROFL (and especially with an ROR combo) it would raise the need for INT dramatically. Plus you have the wonderful RWH. I only put 11 INT on my SIN char for the time being, and when I decide I need to spam a skill, I just switch my SPB to that and refill pretty quickly. Of course you'd need more than 11 (maybe 50-70?) but it would still give you some points for other stats.

The CD doesn't require too much INT, that's both old and new for me. I need Int for Matk since there is no Katar that have Matk. For now I will follow my instinct and reset later. This build is horrible for leveling, but quite good in late game where mobs have tons of HP
