Can do either honestly, but probably healer would be best

By then they should know if they can handle the role as a sole healer or not so they can figure out which one role they are a long ways back.

I checked. Asked my old guildies on SEA if i'd be replaced in sorc/heal. They said soul makers are "support" not "heal". Meaning they're only good at giving extra buffs cuz their heals are way to slow to keep people alive.

hi i'm sea ro2 player, soulmaker is awesome only for buff purpose, i would say their dps and heal are both low.
For healing, Priest>Sorc>Soul
For dps, All dps>Soul
For buff, Soul beat All
