downloaded the manual patch. and launched. after it reach patch 000000.68.RTP (50%) i get this error mesage. all the patches but 62 in the patches folder dissapear...

Hey guys, I had the same problem and I solved it running the path as administrator (Windows 7)!!

try this:

 

1. Copy this link

2. Then paste it in your browser's address bar

 

3. Change xx to the file you're getting error at then

For example: "http://64.94.115.11/...ch/00000053.RTP"

4. Press enter or click submit

5. Download the file then paste it in your RO2's "Patch" folder.

Hi xAmia!, I don't use Steam, but I was searching using google and people say that the more easy way to run a program as administrator in Steam is run the Steam itself as administrator.

 

Try it to see if it works!!, Good luck!

I have been patching The noel patch for 4 hours and it wont patch it will slowly patch, 1 % per min and at 50% i get a error saying "ERROR_CALLBACK : PATCH FAIL" http://puu.sh/4oX5k that is a link to a screen shot of what it says. please help me. i wanted to do the leveling compitition, but now because of the set back i dont have a chance T-T

Been patching for 8 hours here man and I haven't even made it to 50% or gotten an error. At least you're better off than me.

Still getting the error been trying for hours, tried running as admin and still no go, trying running from laucher in folder, tried running from laucher as admin and still same error as ArukaX posted in the picture. Tried what Kaishun suggested and still same error.

i wonder whats wrong with this patching thing? maybe we have to try until we succed, then again i have been trying to patch since 12 PDT....

it stops at 90% and then i tried to repatch and restart my PC but it keeps on stopping at 90% with the same error please help

You guys have to remember that thousands of people have been trying to patch at the same time. This overloads the patcher/file/etc and people get failed patches.

tried that and and nada tried reinstalling and now I get the error at 40% as to before i got it at 90%

The same freakin' situation just happened to me right now... i hate that patch.

 

I WANT AND ANSWER because it took a lot of time ( A LOT ) to reach the 90% and then... just that error.

Download them all. Put the Patches folder and try to get

 

and in your ragnarok 2 folder, find the file name version.dat

 

open it with notepad ...

 

change with this format......   UserGameVersion=00000068

                                                  UserPatchVersion=00000068

 

save it and start the client...
