Probably has something to do with the alignment update to the Khara System, which doesn't kick in until level 51+.

Proves the Devs can't keep their word... This was said in an interview for KRO2 a year ago:



 

"Is your team planning to bring back the Third class and Rebirth class system to RO2?"

"Third and Rebirth system class will be reintroduced again in RO2. However there will be some changes made to the Rebirth class system. In RO during one Rebirth, the character would start from the beginning again, whereas our team find it hard to start over and they find that Rebirth is a process to change into Third Class rather than from the beginning of the game again."
 

"With this, we are planning to do a level of update whereby the Third and Rebirth Class will be introduced by stages. The Third class system somewhere in the first half of 2013 and the “Rebirth” shortly after."

Yeah, the kRO2 site looks like it hasn't been modified much since August. Only thing new I can see is a couple of insignificant maintenance updates. Don't see anything about 3rd Classes or Transcendents. Kind of looks like the developers gave up on their Korean players and are focusing on SEA and us.

So, if we get a new job and newer levels, doesn't this mean our efforts in getting all our level 50 equipment is pointless? Might as well sit out for awhile until the new levels come in and just get the first level 55 armor which will surpass all of the armor we have obtained so far.

Unless you shall have to collect X Victory Point from Hell Dimension to be able to access the new area or update your level.

RO2 is a MMO and, like every other MMO, gears and weapons eventually become obsolete after a while. You just learn to go with the flow.

Still annoying, odds are I will still play, but I am just starting to catch up and now I will fall back behind after the new classes. Oh well, hopefully sorcs become sages and I become more OP in the colo. *sarcasm*

Chances are though, if they are going out in December on other server, we won't get them until at least January-February, maybe even March next year. Noels were a few months behind like that. Still leaves plenty of time for your full Colo set to be relevant.

That's true, but with so many problems with the game ATM it just isn't fun to play. Plus, it's a waste of exp playing now. Might as well stop playing for a while for new contents and level expansion to come out.

Yeah, that's true. I stopped finishing quests in Road of Blessing after hitting level 50. Saving that EXP for the level raise, but trying to atleast get Colo weapon on all of my characters.

remember the lvl progression, with lvl cap increased you still have to do CoA and the other dungeons to access the new high lvl ones. what if colo set not released for higher lvls? gg

The current colo set should not have been released before AoD anyway!

Since WoE was implemented in our server EARLIER than SEA server, it is TOTALLY and TECHNICALLY possible that we can get level expansion sooner than sea. The question is whether our GMs are willing to get it soon or not...


I highly recommend we implement this asap, it is not good to be too far behind sea server, especially for something that big. Knowing this, Many players here may become less active/idle now until the update. I strongly believe that our server is capable to implement updates sooner than sea!

I'm sure I'll have a much easier time doing CoA Hard as a lvl 70

This might be sort of interesting, especially to the people who have reached and are bored of the current endgame.  I am curious about the wording of it.  Does this mean Profession (jobs) are being expanded upon, or will rebirths toss on another class on top of what we have.  Considering how many skills are mixed from Second and Third Class into what we have now, it would be kind of mess if it isn't handled right.

 

But at the same time, I'm kind of hoping that it does clear up and make many unused skills better.  And of course if I could get another Lif to go with my Noel, that'd be great.
