Hillslion - note how it looks sorta lion-like.
Hillsrion is a typical r/l mis-translation, these are fairly common translating between asian languages and english. It's spelled hillrion on non-iRO english language servers, iirc.

Yet you'd think an english-speaking person doing the translating should know this an l in this case since the monster looks like a lion ;

Well, the people doing the translating are probably native korean speakers who also sorta speak english, not the other way around. And they don't play the game or know what the monsters look like, I don't think. They probably just get a pile of text to translate.

They should be required to look at the sprite, view a summary of the game expansion the mob_ID is for, etc, before submitting a final write-up. And QA manager who speaks english should review all of the content as its being approved for final product. It all bopils down to how you manage your employees and what processes you put to paper.
