Would you like rare pet times to be added to the next groove box yes or no and why?

I say yes to adding them to the next lucky box, I don't really see much harm in adding them to the next lucky box it's not like pets have OP game changing effects they're just there to look cute.

That's kind of annoying for people that have no interest in the pet system though. Why not add a way to farm points doing SOMETHING and trade them for pet tames? Something not cash related.

I'd rather have an egg. Nobody wants to spend real money on a tame that is probably going to fail.

 

Although I think it's a bad idea anyway, unless it's something cool and it's a very low rate, otherwise everyone will have one ad the pet will get boring if everyone is walking around with one.

As a collector of anything one would consider rare, I wouldn't really like the idea too much.

 

It may sound selfish but yea, collecting is usually a selfish thing, and I like when some things keep their rarity value. It just feels better when you have something not many others do (at least to me), and it feels more of an achievement when you get that rare something you wanted through patience and perseverance. It doesn't really feel as great if it's something everybody else could easily get, and it would no longer be considered rare. 

 

Well if something like this does happen then that's fine with me. Pets aren't game-breaking like you say anyway so ultimately there's no harm into doing so. Just gonna miss not seeing plenty of people have my pets

HAHAHAHA Viri I would like this whole pet thing to be not cash related too like the tame item seller in izlude where you hunt stuff and trade it in for the tame that you want but come on lets keep it real if its not cash related I don't think the GMs would pay much attention to it, in fact I really like the tame item seller in izlude because you actually have to work for the thing you want not just pay for it but if paying is the only way to get it then so be it.

Well that's one way to look at it that it will be boring if a lot of people have it but I think if you wait awhile a lot of those people will just kill their pets or get bored of feeding them. I think I saw this back when the white lady tame was first available to the masses a lot of people had one and then look at it now there's not much of them around(based on what I've seen anyways) and them just giving us the eggs are a bit too much I think so I don't think they'll do that after all the more pet tames people buy the more money they'll make.

All tames are already vendable I didn't think they would make them unvendable.

They could introduce new tames that aren't being given out via events... but I'd rather they actually fixed all the old pets to perform right / actually have dialogue ~_~

I understand what you mean Mr. Gio :} ! I'm still struggling to find a stone shooter pet and OP's idea would help a lot and all but it won't feel the same if I got it and everybody else could just have it too! x-x

Yea I agree with you I don't really see a big deal with everyone else having the same pet as me besides its not like there will be just one staple pet that everyone will have there are a lot of rare pets out there.

I'm against this too, it just defeats the purpose of it being 'rare', it's a little selfish yes.. 

 

event hosts should just host more events that have rare pet tames as prizes

Omgggg yess moar events please D: and I think leaving some rare is better cuz like I mean rare expensive hats like heart ribbon or banana beret are just for bragging rights since theyre totally useless LOL. Some pets shud stay the same for the kawaii and bragging rights too

We'll just see if money talks for this one but if people really want the really really rare ones (e.g. Evil Nymph) to be kept rare then fine but for the ones like Imp, Succubus, Zealotous and others that the tame already drops in game but is incredibly hard to get then why not just add those into the lucky box or just add them to the tame item seller in izlude and make people hunt stuff for the tames or have NPCs sell them for ridiculous prices (Good zeny sink) idk if we need a zeny sink though.

^The tames dropping in game may be part of why they don't come from anywhere else like events and boxes and stuff. What I think wud be interesting is to just have the monsters drop their tames still at really low drop rates cuz idk it makes sense to me D:

Pet tames might be more appropriate in the Groove Pack? ~500 KP for pet tames is pretty dumb. I enjoy when they put some cool pet tames in the Kafra shop as an annual kind of thing to be honest.

Oh sorry I meant groove pack then I don't ever buy these boxes so I look at a box and oh lucky box I wouldn't be able to buy them if they were sold for 500kp ea anyways.

Lol don't be sorry. They do put tames in lucky boxes and a lot of the times (not always), they are considered the unwanted items that people trade back for brownie points. I think it's silly cause tames would be cool if they weren't in expensive lucky boxes.

Tames added to groove pack > everyone has pet > pet becomes useless > every rare pet is then same value as picky.

 

Plus it shows some lee7ness to obtain a small quantity of pet tames (1 or 2) by winning hide and seek events, and then being lucky enough to tame your desired monster

I said this already don't put the really rare tames that the event managers give out to people during events in boxes just the ones that already drop in game should be put in boxes since they drop already they're just really hard to get.
