I'll be updating the irowiki guide now. Thanks for telling us how the quest actually works. And the lump outside of ice dungeon was reported to be to the left more than then map image shows.

so this wont be fixed til next week? i thought this was being tested and thats why maint took an extra hour... so i guess theres no point in working on this quest til next week then... can we at least get info on the hat? this isan awful lot of trouble to go through if the hat is ugly/useless....

 

The past few weeks they have taken an extra hour, during maintenance, for testing. Regardless of this fact there have been problems, with multiple things, afterwards. It seems that regardless of how much testing they do they are unable to tell what problems we will experience ourselves. I don't know if they do testing, on a separate computer, & download the patch after they have completed maintenance, to actually do the testing as if they were an actual user or not. To me it seems that would be the only real way of testing things.

Get treasures from lump, but cat doesnt give anything to me o_O He said that I should wear eyepatch, but its on me o_o

 

Upd.Dropped one eyepatch and he started to speak me, but didnt give a hat - just gave another box with eyepatch. I still have a quest and it says: My arms are really tired from digging up all that treasure. I dont think I can dig any more for awhile.

hmm, the envelope should be dropping from any monster you kill

No, it has a really low drop chance (about 1%, someone tested). Took me a couple of hours of hunting random monsters before I got my first one.

the more monsters you kill the more chance they will drop envelopes ive gotten 4 in the last hour while mercilessly slaughtering groves

Nope couldn't tell that much from your message. You just said didn't give you a hat & gave another eye patch. From what I've read the NPC at the end doesn't give out an eye patch only the one at the start.

Okay, than I copy, what I send by ticket.

"I got a map and come to loop. Kill summoned mobs - speak to loop and get treausure, but when I came to cat - he didnt give me anything - only new box with eyepatch.
I tried to drop/wear eyepatch, but still the same. Restart doesnt helps too. I still have a quest, but cant finish it.
I even tried to go to another loop and start new one, but other loop doesnt summon mobs.
And yeah, two other maps, that i got, i put in kafra storage, but cat still dont give a prize."

The guide doesn't say anything about talking to "loop" or putting anything in kafra storage in order to get prize.

 

Sending in a ticket isn't going to get you any help really. By the time anyone replies the quest will be gone.

Then what should I do now? I can start another quest, cause loops doesnt summon mobs, even when if I have the map. Cat only speak with me and give new boxes with eyepatch. But in quests I still have first unfinished quest and all that "treasures" like rubys, carat diamond, etc.

Edit: Yup. 3 hour cooldown.  I don't know why I didn't even check first.

 

To get to Odin Temple you have:

1. Talk to sign in middle of Hugel

2. Go southwest corner and into a house.

3. I talked to everyone in the house.  There is a lady went you go <<< left that tells you about the boatman.

4. Exit building and go far right to the end of a dock.  Teleport to Odin Temple.  Walk right to the coordinates of mud lump.

Campitor stated that it was repeatable:

I have to wait a few hours still before I can do it again, so can anyone else confirm if it's repeatable after you get the hat?
 
Can you get the chests more than once, and can you get the hat more than once?

I did it twice on a couple of my characters already

There's a 3? hour cooldown, it should say what time you can do it again in your quest log. You can check the dirt lump after that time and it'll spawn the monsters for you to fight when you approach it again.

Is it possible, that quest couldnt finished first time, because loop doesnt give all the stuff or u click something wrong when speak to cat?

And in the end I didn't receive my hat. Tried opening another envelope and going to another spot for the treasure but no monsters appear.

 

Anyone else expiriencing this?

While there is weight limit there is also limit to how many types of items you can hold. 100 different types of items is the limit. You probably hit that limit rather than weight.

I hate that message... for some reason a full inventory due to item count, and full inventory due to weight use the same message=/

There is a 100 item limit on inventory space. Item stacks only count as 1 item.
